this is the same shit that just happened to me!!!!!!!!! wtf! i called the number and the guy told me i would be better off purching another mac for $1100!!!!!!!
@rilezly Thats bullshit! I've had the computer for like 4 months and I rarely use the drive! I'm still under the Hardware warranty so I think I'm good. Best of luck to you! How long have you had the macbook?

i have had mine for about 3 years... but stil, for $1100 i would think they would be flawless!

@rilezly You could purchase a new superdrive for $200 and install it yourself. And Ikr, $1100 it BETTER be flawless!
