haha i love flying! take off is the best, then landing. and flying over cities too. but one time, i was about eight, and i was waiting for the bathroom, and when i finally got in, the plane starts turning to line up with the run way. not the funnest thing being thrown against the wall while trying to pee haha :)

@MsSandy0000 If you haven't already gone when I post this: when in normal flight (once it has reached cruising altitude) it's pretty smooth, and most turbulance doesn't last long, and isn't scary (at least not for me). The only thing you'd feel on takeoffs is it'll feel like gravity has increased, since you're going up fast, and on landings gravity feels like it's decreased, since you're going down fast. It's all pretty good, airliners fly really smooth nowadays.

@MsSandy0000 Nothing in an aircraft is scary to me, I have a takeoff video in HD it was really smooth, same with the landing. Turbulance I not a biggy its not like your going to fall out of the sky. as long as the earth has an atmoshpere, Planes will continue to fly!

My personal favorite part is when the engines go to full power an you get pushed back into your seat! ITS AWSOME!

well my first time was in september, i was really really nervous too. the worst you can do is over think it. dont watch videos of plane accidents and stuff, thats what i did and it puts alot of fear in your head. so really just dont even think about it until that day. and really for me, after your up in the air, its kinda done through the hard part, i just think taking off is kinda scary, and turbulence. landing is alot of fun, you dont even feel it going down so dont be scared.

I can summarize the experience for myself: takeoff is the funnest part. 15-30min after that is fun too if you're next to a window. Then, everything is boring as hell because you've had enough of the window. Landing is then the 2nd funnest part.

No need to fear this, because these big planes are extremely very safe and getting even safer every year.

Actually I went to hawaii like 4 days ago taking of from LAX in a 737-800 and I have to say it looks scary but its not and hell, Im even scared of rollercoasters and heights but just enjoy how fast ur going whne you look out the window, Its fun

Isn't it illegal to use electrial equipment on take off or landing as it interferes with aircraft systems? But never mind if you endanger the safety of others as long as you do what you want to do.

It's really only a problem if the entire aircraft is using it at the same time...there is a SLIGHT chance that, when a lot of electronic devices are being used whilst the wheels are touching the ground, there will be a spark, but even if the whole plane were using phones or cameras it would only be a slight chance.

I'm okay whenever it takes off and you are still kinda close to the ground, but when the plane gets up to 30,000 feet and I can see nothing but clouds beneath me I start to get scared.

i hate flying, but whenever i get a window seat i am always happy. i just don't like looking out of it when take-off occurs (because i have anxiety and it raises my anxiety level), but this is much better for me.

try to ask NOT to sit by a window. when the time comes for takeoff, just relax and enjoy the feeling as you slowly soar higher and higher into the air and finally, sum all ur bravery and look at the view of the entire city u were in! it's amazing to look at! then, u should feel more comfortable. :D
