  • Didn't you or the kids develop any kind of emotional attachment to the bird? Also, like a few of the others, I was a bit shocked at your killing stroke. It seemed to me that the animal wasn't cleanly killed but if you know for sure that it was killed instantly, I'll take your word for it.

Only scummy muslims with their stupid halal killing would let an animal suffer. Suffering and pain are part of everything the muslims do.

  • @nightowl8936, our children have been taught from an early age not to develop emotional attachments to farm animals. I believe in treating animals well both in life and death. Any animal I process is killed quickly and humanely.

You'd be horrified to know that many chickens you find in grocery stores are killed by having their throats slit, halal style.

  • Home raised turkey and an Entenmann's cake! That's irony there! I would love to pick up a few acres so that I could raise my own food as well.

  • @MrBreadman03 LOL. Not everyone who attended our Thanksgiving dinner that year was of like-mind. There was plenty of commercial food-like product available as well.

  • Great to see the home practise of killing and eating meat at home continue! Many of the inane comments posted here come form idiots who eat in McDonalds or KFC and think the food they are eating is havested from the ground or grows on trees, people have NO sense of reality!!

  • when all the ppl around the world are acusing the chinese people killing and eating dogs, the civilized americans are killing and torturing and finally eating the turkeys.

    LMAO.

  • th blade was bowed and it did not kill her. There were children witnessing this torture and murder. They are America's next Serial Killer reality show stars.

  • @teawithsu You are completely wrong. Have you ever processed a bird before? What you are seeing is the standard neurological response from any domestic foul once the spine is severed. Please take your ad hominem attacks elsewhere.

  • that was cool ill stick to shootin mine first though.

    Happy turkey day

  • I kinda thought you could of hit him alittle harder but cool.

  • Thing is, this bird WAS treated much more ethically than any battery house turkey ever would have been. (P)eople (E)ating (T)asty (A)nimals

  • Pretty cool. Just that I don't think you should have showed that part of you killing the bird. If it gets into the hands of peta. Then yeah...Otherwise pretty cool.

  • Better then the market turkey filled with growth hormones and other crap.

  • AndyPottyMouth... the animals spinal cord was completely severed, rendering it dead. The hot water scald is to loosen the feathers, making it easier for plucking.

  • haha thats so fuckin great he didnt sever the head so he drowns it

  • hey man dont lecture me ok? i thought it was funny is all

  • It's a shindig!

  • Man!I wanna come to your house for Thanksgiving!
