  • Beautiful bell chime.

  • @Kevin36097

There are 12 bells here. The heaviest bell weighs 3 tons. they are in the tower with no clock

  • @Kevin36097 -- dans la tour à gauche

  • Many people like these, but I can't say I do. Sorry...

  • I agree, they are not nice at all. They sound industrial and not mellow at all like York are.

  • I agree with you on terms of them sounding industrial. They don't sound like your average Taylor peal, but they are quite early I believe?

  • I will hold proper judgement until I hear them for real in a few weeks, but they sund OK to me. i have read that their sound matches the environment - a harsh, strident noise to be heard over the noise of the city

  • Am looking forward to the 12-bell, I also haven't heard them in the flesh

  • I shall look out for you Mr Louis even though I havent got a clue what you look like. I will be the one with the camera, obvs.

  • Likewise - I wll listen to them properly then decide!!

  • Yea there is something missing from these

  • Ye, same! Not quite complete.... They lack that "Tayloresque!!" lol

  • I agree. York's bells are unique. Amazing...

  • If you like church bells there is an interesting item on MONTV. which is internet TV for Monmouthshire. Go to Google ask for MONTV then click on Mon Faith then Ringing the changes. The bells of ST. Mary Caldicot.

  • Alot of ringers regard St Vedasts as the nicest sounding ring of bells in all London and its only a 6. OWNED

  • cool - I love change ringing :)
