hi, please help! i have tried burning a dvd like 5 times now and it will not go through..my video file was originally flv format and ab 2 hrs long. im using a dvd-r blank dvd..i keep getting different error codes or either just wont do it. sometimes it has said 1/0 error..power calibration if full??? i dont know what that means..if anyone has answers please tell me :) thanks!

Inserted a MKV file and said it couldn't load the audio. I went along and burned it anyway to test it. I burned it to a disk and inserted it into my PS2 and Xbox360 and 2 DVD players it read them as a non playable DVD... ANY HELP Would be nice XD Thanks.

@lllllllaLexlllllllll Be sure that the movie format is in .avi. Other than these formats may take more than several hours especially encoding audio almost take 1 day. .avi format audio tracks is faster a little. bit.

I'm confused with this video...

I use RipIt4Me...to get rid of the rubbish on the original dvd

then DvD Decrypter to encode

then ImgBurn to burn

All free to download on the net

See for yourself , they are very easy to use

Use VLC Media Player to watch the resultant ISO file and almost anything else that other media players wont touch as well .....(free online)

(ImgBurn will burn most files to DvD)......and the Kpack Lite that is mentioned is a must.

The thing about DVD flick is that it doesn't give you the option to trim video files, what this means is that if you have a very high quality video with a large file size which you want to burn on to multiple DVD discs while retaining the maximum highest quality possible, it only allows you to burn one file onto one disc so I assume that it compresses the video file to fit on the disc, causing large amounts of quality loss

@hishmeh666 i have nero. The thing with nero, you probably burned it onto a cd-r. If you choose DVD Video and use a DVD-R or +r or RW, then you'll notice that nero cannot burn an .AVI file, that is why we need a good encoder/converter for these videos. AVC is good, but it converts the video TWICE, ConvertXtoDVD is good, but if you use it free you'll have a gay ass watermark in the middle of the picture. But you'll need to convert AVI to VOB files, or DVD files if there is any in that extension.

if you downloaded a avi file why would you want to convert to dvd file. Just go and buy a dvd player that plays divx files, they are so cheap now eg pioneer around $110 plays divx, upscales to 1080p and as a usb , where you can just plug in your thumb drive and watch your avi files.
