Possibly do a tutorial on how to fit the leads together with the pads and appegio? i know you kind of covered it breifly but could help to hear your pads seperately and how they fit together?

Any specific reason you guys prefer Cubase over FL studio?

@DubstepMashup A few reasons a lot of people prefer other DAWs to FL are that channels don't have to be assigned to a mixer manually, or that automation is much simpler (i.e. you don't have to make a new automation clips for each parameter you want to automate). Also, DAWs like Ableton or Cubase (both of which I use) have better support for 3rd-party plug ins. But, it tends to just be personal preference; for example, I prefer to use Ableton for composing but use FL to master

How do you route your modulation wheel on your midikeyboard to the first macro knob?

@fillehj either right click or on a mac ctrl+click the macro knob. click 'midi learn' on the menu that comes down then twiddle your mod wheel. should work ;)

Another useful vid lads. Rather than one on mixing per se, how about doing one on layering (which you touch on in this vid) and filling the frequency spectrum for a full sound?

@NeverReality midi controllers make sounds?! i thoght i could just map e.g. macros to the controller to make movement in my sound ( which i could also do by hitting a key on my keyboard and moving the macro button witg my mouse? never had a problem with that but i saw midi controllers getting recommended a lot). wtf? ^^

But seriously, you should be asking yourself that, not us. why SHOULD you buy a midi controller? Are you actually going to use it? ;) Compared to Synths they offer a huge variety of sound, providing you have a laptop and some DAW software. I own a Akai Mpk 49 and I'm not very serious about making music, but i love having it for when inspiration does strike.
