You aren't in Arizona are you? If so it might be an Arizona Bark Scorpion. It probably won't kill you, but it's sting is extremely painful. If you are stung the best thing to do is to visit the emergency room for minor treatment. Again, they won't kill you, but I'd invest in pest control. :)
