never thought about that.. have they tested that or what ? Let me tell you something though . I had a radar a while back . and the thing would alert on everything. so i got so used to it beeping all the time .that I got two tickets in 2 weeks..( by the same cop ) .lol. it was so funny .the cop says: dang man you have a radar and i still got you twice. So it was the perfect time to pull the ol' my speed odometer must be off a little lol. In court the cop dropped them both in front of the judge
I was looking at radar detectors a couple weeks ago (Valentine 1 and Escort 9500I) on youtube, and if you scroll through the comments, you'll see that people have UNOFFICIALLY tested them. There may be tests somewhere, but I can't say.
As well, I have a RD that I removed because the range was like 10FT (useless, lol). Some 30$ Cobra. I always had it mounted very low, like yours. Maybe I'll put it back in when the snow clears out (not doing much driving) and test.
i have a valentine also now and i am very impressed. i wouldnt give it a 2nd thought between escort and valentine. its a bit pricey but well worth it. the guy who created the valentine was actually the chief engineer for escort or one of the lead brands and he pulled out because of internal conflicts of some sort and started his own radar that surpassed the others. i bet escort feels pretty salty now
yea it does increase the range but i was missing a suction cup from my windshield mount so i just set it on the dash temporarily. i have it mounted back up now.
truck sounds very mean! What size muffler is that magnaflow 5x8x? is it a cat back?

i forget the part number but i believe it is. and its a custom catback. I deleted the resonator and had the tubing custom cut and made.

thats just the computer goin throught all of its scans to make sure the vehical will run correct.....every vehical has it

good sound, but it would sound better if you would go past half throttle, get on it, it's an RT.
