Maybe you can make it completely serial controlled and sell kits! I'd love to use simple commands to draw images on a LCD like that.
Sparkfun's serial LCDs can't do graphics as well as what you did.

YES! This is the idea - to make it serial controllable - via RS232 or RS485 :) I'm working on that. I hope it's bug free ;) Thanks for your comment!

And - it's already working now :) Controlled by serially transmitted commands it supports even programming icons in EEPROM!
