@Vachidra Actually I think the toy is kinda ugly. It has really tiny arms as Great Might Gaine. Studio Halfeye did a nice job though.

I disagree about combiners becoming a lost art because of articulation. I have the Masterpiece great Exkaiser, and its articulation is fine. Cm's Corporation's GaoGaiGars are all nicely articulated, as is their Raijin Oh (aside from Bakuryu's hips). I've also seen their prototype Super Fire Dagown. It was sadly unproduced, but they proved the design could work.

@Vachidra The Studio Half Eye version looks AMAZING shame it costs like $400 not to mention its about the size of a Worlds smallest transformer and the individual vehicle modes look off so that the robot modes look great but at least might gunner looks great and doesn't suffer from the short barrel perfect cannon mode that the original toy had

Truth be told, though, the Kaiser Parts seem to expand various components outward when they form Might Kaiser (most notably the arms), so closing back down to normal size to form Great Might Gaine seems perfectly reasonable.

One of my 2nd favs Great braves next to GGG (my no. 1 Brave). also what a coincident both series main voice actor is actually the same guy. i got the reissue version of the toy recently, fuuh yoo! it's the most beatiful hunk of plastic i've ever seen. it's bricktastic! just wish dat someday Takara would make a masterpiece of Mightgaine. hmm wishful thinking..
