  • @MangaLover971 Do you read other genre beside soujo manga like Yaoi xD ?

I bought a lot of manga but i just lost it somewhere -.-

    sr for my bad English

  • @theholyrevenger Nope, most if not all of my mangas are classified as shojo. I'm not really into yaoi and yuri.

  • I agree, And plus, It feels more rewarding when you finish a manga when Its the actual book and not online.

  • @LadyAssailant17 Yeah, i'm seeing less and less TokyoPop mangas on the shelves. Though, i still see Furuba but that's probably just what has been in storage or something.

And it's been a while since i've seen the anime for VK but i guess i would probably consider the manga better. For one, the art is just incredible but also Matsuri Hino is just such a great storyteller so everything, in my opinion, flows together and isn't piece-ey like some other mangas i have read in the past.

  • Too bad I can't buy fruits basket now. I had almost saved up enough money

    :'(

  • @cuppiedude20 Well, lately i've still been seeing Furuba in bookstores so i'm confused about this whole thing about TokyoPop not publishing anymore???

  • That's such a shame that some Manga distributors are loosing money T-T

I wanted to read Fruits Basket O.o I hope they will distributed in the UK still O.o

And I agree with you about Vampire Knight ;D

Zero and Kaname are just so....sexy ;) ♥

    Hahaa x3

  • OMG I TOTALLY LOVE Cactus Secret <33

  • @TsunaXBurner4 I know, it's cute right? :D I really like the art style too.

  • thanks for telling i liked how you talked and shared stuff in this video and stuff so i'm gonna subscribe because i think your nice and kind ok so i'll totally subscribe

  • @AnimeLover2904 Dawww, thanks ;_;

    I really appreciate it!! *hug*

  • U HAVE SUCH A PRETTY VOICE!!! wahhh!!! i can't believe about the tokyo pop newsTT^TT I NEED TO FINISH GIRL GOT GAME!!!

  • I have like 100 mangas and a ton of series, but I kinda stopped buying them cause I can't really afford spending my money on them when I buy like everything else and I'm back to drawing more than reading. ^^'

It sucks that they're closing down though D:

  • @anamanga668 yeah, i stopped buying/reading new mangas for a while cause i was broke thanks to the expense of my copics lol but now that i have a set amount of markers and have more frequent babysitting jobs, i have the money to buy things now. (and put away for savings)

  • Woah, so many manga series! And I love the fact you have them in order, no random volumes etc.

I hate when that happens, and I have to move my butt and finish the rest of Furuba as I have volume 1-9 and then randomly a 22 my friend bought me =_=

But are Tokyopop still distributing in Europe?

  • @iYuruChan Thanks Yuu-chan! :D

Haha anyone who knows me well knows that i'm a neat freak and keep all of my things

    in order xD

TokyoPop is only no longer distributing in the US so if Europe is where you live than you're safe.

Yeahh, you have a ways to go on Furuba lol but trust me, it will be well worth it when you

complete it ^^ I cried at the end haha!

  • Cool manga collection

Its very interesting that Tokyo pop keeps changing its excuse

Here is a question for you if streaming is the reason why Tokyo pop shut its doors why did they keep there Europe branch open don’t people in Europe stream manga.

  • @peaka567 I heard it was because they weren't selling well because of different "edits" and "faults" with their manga, like scrambled pages (I've gotten more than one of those), censuring (so they could aim their manga at a younger audience), and problems with translations (Hinako Takanaga's Croquis had for example lots of German words in it in it's first releases).... And also because they were not licensing new hip series...

  • @peaka567 And I actually also heard they were closing down because the director wanted to pursue a career as a pop artist or something... O.o

    Many different excuses, definitely!

  • @peaka567 Yeah, i don't know about that?? It's all weird to me.

  • Ahh, I also have the full set of Full Moon ^0^ It's good, though I've mainly moved on to older series ^^

What you SHOULD try by Arina Tanemura is Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (If you haven't)! It's her best series by FAR, and also one of the best "magical girl" mangas out there, I'd say <3

Hehe, I have about 300 manga in 4 different languages XP

  • @WinonaFlammery Jeanne has been on my manga "to buy" list for a while now, haha xD

But yes, i've heard many good things about that series so i hope to read it soon! ^^

300?!?! WOW! Thats a lot!! You speak 4 different languages??

  • @MangaLover971 Ah, that's great!! ^0^ But it's oop, so you'd better get it before it gets expensive (if you plan on buying it) ^^;

Hehe, I'm Norwegian, so I speak Norwegian and can read Swedish and Danish fluently (I have no Swedish or Danish mangas yet though), I also read English perfectly, my German is quite good, and I can read a bit Japanese (so I'm importing the classics like "KazeKi" and "Rose of Versailles") ^w^

  • @WinonaFlammery Well i've seen Jeanne at local bookstores so i think i'm safe. And if

for some odd reason they no longer carry it i could always find it at an anime convention

    anyway.

That's quite impressive that you know so many languages, good job! English is my first language,

though i know a lot of Spanish and i'm teaching myself Japanese since they do not offer it at

    my school.

  • @MangaLover971 Ah, okay, that's great!! I've got the full Norwegian set ^w^

Thank you ^w^ Yeah, I learn myself Japanese too, or rather, I did, and then I kinda... stopped. I need to pick it up again! ^0^ At least I still know all the hiragana, katakana and some kanji ^^
