Lost started off well but somehow became convoluted after watching it intermittently. I got LOST myself. It could have been the next X-files but it became too soap opera-ish. Can anyone summarise from the first episode to the last what LOST is about esp. the philosophy or metaphysics behind it? For sure it's like an extended episode of Twilight Zone.

I would agree with what many people have said, that season 3 was not as good as the first 2 seasons. However, the season finale was soooo good! I am way sad about Charlie, since he was one of my fave characters. Maybe he isn't really dead... I can't wait for season 4 now, but the fact that we have to wait until February for a shortened 16 episode season, pretty much sucks. At least I have the DVDs to tide me over until then. LOST is still one of, if not the best show on TV.
