  • for the assembly it seems like regular full strength plastic cement, and then applying the Tamiya super-thin over all the seams to fuse it together and then scraping the excess to get the smooth finishes

  • yes and no, the cement is a plastic solvent so it dissolves the plastic and acts as a putty and smoothes the surface , when fully cured he uses a knife to scrape it smooth, but make sure that its is fully cured, otherwise it won't not be funny at all. finish of with a fine abrasive paper.
