  • Gorgeous. What a gem.

  • Very nice! Still one of my fav's

  • My God they sound good.this is what i love. that good old gospel hymnes. what a treasure.thanks for posting this.

  • Actually the members singing on this recording are Jim Murray, Terry Blackwood, Roger Wiles, Armond Morales. This was recorded around 1970.

  • Beautiful

  • Every Sunday after service, my church all join hands and sing this song. It's one of my favorite things about out church, because this song really describes my church and how we've been blessed by the Lord with such a loving congregation. (:

  • I remember singing this song in a group we had at Church as a youth with Tom Robles & Ruben Cabello & myself (Andy Robles)...long time ago.

  • This recording was done when Roger Wiles was with them---before Greg Gordon and Sherman Andrus.

  • Left to right are Joe Moscheo, Jim Murray, Sherman Andrus, Terry Blackwood and Armond Morales. No doubt. Did their "Live" album in 1972 at the Tivoli Theater in Richmond, IN. Amazing.

  • These guys ministered to me as a child. My mother played them constantly. I think the Lord used it mightily in my life to teach me there was more to life than the "hell" I lived in as a kid. God is so good! He always makes a way!!

  • This was the best grouping of the Imperials when Armond, Jim, Terry Blackwood and Roger Wiles were together.

  • Isn't that Mylon LeFevor on the left?

  • Jake Hess is the only guy to sing at Elvis's funeral and Hank Williams Sr....not JD or anyone else......Elvis tried to get Jake to sing secualr musica and sign with RCA...he said no....

  • @stanmull8 ur point?

  • @stanmull8

    ur point?

  • The Imperials verson is sooooooooo much better than the Stamps....not even close. Chezcake1966 you are so wrong...

  • I believe you have the line-up wrong; this song was sung by the Stamps with JD Sumner as I know his voice anywhere.

  • @chezcake1966 This is the Imperials. JD Sumner Never sang with them. The Stamps did do this song

  • This is the best Imperials that ever assembled. They blow away every other group. I used to travel miles and miles just to see them in concert.

  • This has got to be one of my all time favorites - thanks!

  • I have heard this song performed by literally dozens of groups. This is one of the best. It is the best with respect to how well be bass (sung here by Armond Morales) blends in.

  • No competition. I believe the Imperials made this song. This is what you call 4 part harmonies. The Imperials reigned in this genre within the southern gospel, but the Kings Heralds hold the over all crown!

  • thank you so mutch for posting this song!!!!!

    greetings from holland!!!!

  • Never a better blend of voices than this lineup here!!!!

  • Such rich, smooth harmony--gives me goose bumps!

  • Beautiful song.

  • Just listen to these harmonies , vocals !! It makes me cry everytime I hear this version . Listen how cool these guys sound !!! Luv It ! - Timmy Davis , 10-22-09

  • Awe-Inspiring. Sorry about my name by the way haha

  • Armond is the smoothest bass singer ever!!!!!!!

  • Buena la armonia,

  • This has been my favorite song since I was a child. For years I have searched to find this recording. Finally, you have given me such a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • The members are:Jim Murray, Armond Morales,Terry Blackwood, Sherman Andrus and Joe Moscheo...The best gospel singers ever...

  • does anyone know who the members are?

    that bass is really good

  • @PedroSG That bass is Armond Morales, who was with The Imperials from its inception in 1964 until his retirement I think in 2004. I'm a bass singer myself. Armond has always been one of my favorite role models in bass singing,

  • Beautiful!
