  • Haha the female is bugger then the male :)

  • lol yeah ninja bug lol

  • 0:09 NINJA BUG

  • both females ?

  • lol dude, totally smacked that thing off and the other ate it, fucking teamwork!

  • The female is actually most likely older than totallus, however, totallus is bigger. I did not know that females grow to a larger size than the males.

  • @METAVIRITE

you have sand and thats a big problem. not being mean but we didnt know this. 99 % of bearded dragon deaths is do to sand. my little baby bearded dragon died because of it. D: just telling you so you dont lose one

  • cute!

    :)

my sisters did that, shes a baby

  • thats so funny!! my beardy (fugly) sits with locusts on his head for ages, he wont even move to flick them off! ive never known such a lazy creature...these days he waits for his food to walk into his mouth, its ridiculous!

thanks for posting this video, i love moments like these with my fugly.

  • I want to get two bearded dragons but I want them to be the same sex because I don't want any extra beardies running around. So I want two males. Do you guys think that getting two males is possible or am I in over my head???

  • @greenizDAnublaque 2 males are likely to fights unless they were born together and have lived together since birth. if you want to get to different kinds of beardies or something like that just get 2 females

  • @beardedDRAGON007 thanks for the info:-)

  • is that a male and a female or are they the same sex?

  • do u know where to get a bearded dragon

  • Yes, but I assume that it is you who whishes to find a bearded dragon.

  • @theawesomepawesome look on craigslist or places like that. I found a breeder that lived just a mile away from me! Sure.. she was a little crazy... with 15 adult beardies running around her house... but I got a baby for $30! lol she even told me when its birthday was!

  • @wooballyismonies thanks

  • @theawesomepawesome Go to petsmart, they have them there

  • does any 1 know where u can get a bearded dragon

  • @theawesomepawesome petco, petsmart, breeders, craigslist, online, and any exotic pet shop where u live

  • That's awesome. I found a guy who gives away a free book about how to raise bearded dragons. Do you know him? Here is the link care-bearded-dragons.info

  • Your bearded dragons look very cool! mine passed away August 2, 2011 at the age of 9. He was awesome while he lived.

  • Thank you.

  • @Rec0nGunn3r sorry to hear about your dragon... :( do you plan on getting another one? i just got my first one a few weeks ago,by far the best and most fun pet i've ever had.

  • @chambers104 No I wont be getting another one, even though they are great pets. I hope your beardie lives a long and healthy life : ) Enjoy him/her!

  • LOL I love bearded dragons!!!

  • what kind of subsrate is this?

  • Love to watch beardies eat. Keep in mind the crickets do bite and can hurt the dragon so flick them off their heads, eyes, etc. :)

  • My male bearded dragon died on July 8 2011. I got him for christmas on 2010... All I have is the female bearded dragon.. :(

  • Well, I hope the situation wiil still yeild a positive result.

  • Thats awesome lol

  • Thank you.

  • lol, not just yesterday i was feeding my beardie, and their so happened to be a cricket on it's tail. The beardie then flung the cricket half way across it's cage and into the water bowl :D

  • Great, the cricket olympics.

  • @METAVIRITE

    lol! :)

  • She has such a cute look on her face!! Beauty's!!!

  • Thank you.

  • surprised they dont fight in there...

  • They do not fight but totallus has been very violent toward nitro (one with cricket on it's head) in the past.

  • @Redrik666 females and males don't really fight, the male will just try to mate with the female everytime he feels like it

  • Haha, I can imagine the cricket saying I'm just gonna chill up here if you don't mind..

  • aww XD

  • you have very beautiful dragons! :)

  • Ninja Cricket

  • Cricket: *panting* hegh hegh hegh hegh!....Okay, okay okay okay....heg heg hegh. I'm safe up here

Dragon #1: Ugh....Not realy dude. I can see you. You know that right?

Drahon#2: Hey. whats our food doing on your head?

    Dragon#1: Ugh...hiding I guess.

    Cricket: *screams and jumps* FREEEEDOOOOM!!!!

Dragon#2: *Eats cricket* om nom nom

    Dragon#1: Dude... not cool.

  • What a marvelous dialogue. 5 stars says this observer.

  • some1 doesnt like to share crickets and eat them all!

  • I created a site for reptile owners and lovers to interact, free subscription to the first 100 members. You can go to my youtube page to find the site or just go to showmyreptile

  • are males bigger and why do they both look different from eachother?

  • I am not exsactly an expert on bearded dragon physiology, but from what I know about organisims and bearded dragons I can speculate that males would most likely be the larger among the genders; Due to how the sex hormones affect their growth and development.

  • @METAVIRITE thanks for the info.

  • @TheLifeSource females and males can really be pretty even in size, but on average males are a little bigger. There are alllll different kinds of beardie genetics out there now allowing different colors, sizes and scale types, They both look like sandfires "normal beardies" check out Silkbacks, leatherbacks and translucents for some examples of different types! :)

  • @TheLifeSource males have large heads and a thinner body while females have smaller heads and bigger bodies

  • 0:22

Beardy: okay okay take deep breaths, i can do this...

  • I set that as my iPod background

  • Dang... In the end he better have gotten another cricket or xtea mealy lol

  • Just a quick warning that crickets can eat lizards eyes out. Be careful of them. I had a crcket that ate the eyes out of my green anole.

  • 0:20 "i am not amused..." ahaha

  • how big is your older dragon?

  • At this point nitro (female/one with cricket on her head) is deceased, but totallus who is still with us will be three years and three months on the eightteeth of januaray 2011. I'm not exactaly sure how old nitro was bucause I suspect the vendors gave us a incorrect age when we had purchased her, but she was with us for 2 years and nine months.

  • @METAVIRITE I hate animals when they die..

  • then do you subsequently love them when they live?

  • @METAVIRITE yes

  • hi metavirite. I want to get a dragon, I've researched them and they appear to be great pets. only problem is i've never owned a reptile before, are they appropriate for beginners? I've had dogs before, but we had them since i was a child, so i was never responsible for them.

  • A bearded dragon is a responsability and a unique experience, however, taking care of one does not require vast herptilogical acumen.

  • Hey dude, hey you, yes you, no not you please move I am talking to the guy behind you, yeah you. Hey you got some food on your face... Umm yeah its kinda right there. No its there... Its that large thing covering your eye dude.

  • That is quite humorous.

  • i have a beardie names rambo yes like sylvester stalone however you spell it he is not that big and we have had wim a year in february my beagle is scared of him. won't get in a 10 foot radius

  • lol!!! sooo cute. i might be gettin 1 soon, do you have tips for me. please respond. :)

  • I would be glad to help you. I would recommend that you have your environment complete before you purchase the dragon for the transport will most likely be very stressful for Him/her.never feed them orange or any thing with scorbic acid and sertainly not any citris fruit, A young dragon will need lots of protein so lost of worms and crickets, crickets encourage them to run after their food. bearded dragons can be very fussy eaters so try to vary their diet as much as possible.

  • If He/She will not drink, mist them with water or you could give them a bath once every week or so. though they make not eat to much vegetables at first, do not let that discourage you from introducing vegetabes to them anyway. Bearded dragons are very alert creatures, if you see that they; cannot support them selves; are listless; have any bumps or abrasions; any twisted or limp limbs; pus or inflamation; that means the dragon is not healthy and should not be purchased. I hope this helps.

  • I apologize for the typos.

  • @BeardedDragonFred

Oo, trying to help, Um try to mix up the meals, try to go carrots before gut loading, or some veggie, because you want to avoid impaction.. mine went through it, rough time. but put them in a warm bath and rub the belly if anything letting you know ahead of time before you go freaking out looking on the comp like i did when i first happened. good to have advice and people to help.

so if any questions Please don't be afraid to ask m8. :D

  • @TuneItUpStudios thanks a lot m8 i got him today hes so cool. hes called Fred. thanks again for your help:)

  • tha cricket must be like "ha ha niggah u cant get me haha suk a dik"

  • Damn, your beardies are huge, how old are they

  • Totallus (Male) was about a year and three months. I believe the the vendors at the reptile expo lied to us when we purchased Nitro, so I do not know how old Nitro (Female) is, but we had her seven months when I filmed this video. I apologize for taking so long to respond.

  • I love her expression when she noticed. It was like: o.O

  • cute lol

  • a new hat lol cute

  • Thank you.

  • So cute. I absolutely love these animals. I have a baby/juvenile Bearded dragon and watching them eat is always so much fun.

That was cute though, I've had a few ballsy crickets try to crawl up on my BD's head and he just stares off like "I hate you cricket. I'm gonna eat you cuz I always win in staring contests."

  • what kind are they ?

  • I am not certain.

  • I cant wait to get my beardie :'D This is so cute!

  • Thank you.

  • "do I have something on my face?"

  • i gonna get one next week and i bught calcium whit d3 is that good or bad?

  • Hehehehe.... Nice to see that they are well fed.

  • "I is confused."

"HA! YOU WON'T BE EATING ME ANY TIME SOON!"

    "O wait, got it."

    "DAMMIT!!"

  • Mmmm, fatfatfat!! Lovely dragons. How long were they both? It may just have been the cage/angle, but that second dragon looks absolutely massive!

  • Thank you. On an estimate I would say that totallus (male) is about 17" and nitro (female) is about 14".

  • lol thts funny...how many times do u feed it

  • lol blindspot! xD

  • I want one really bad but I'm not entirely sure yet

  • Alright then.

  • cleaning? you need to buy a bigger one

  • This was filmed over a year ago at this piont , I have puchased a new cage since.

  • Wow those beardies are probely the best looking ones i have EVER seen in youtube and at petstores . I want one sooooo bad .

  • those beardies look awsome. I want my beardie to look like that when he grows up!!! myne is 2 months old.

  • Smart cricket!

  • lol i think the male did that on perpose just to get the rest of the crickets

  • what a lovely pair...how come one has such a long tail?

  • "uuh, ooh, what is this shit?!" hahaha

  • nice looking beardies

  • Thank you.

  • ist das terrarium nicht ein wenig klein für 2 ?

  • Her face says "Okay. NOT COOL. GET IT OFF."

  • Wow beautiful beardies! Nice job

  • Thank you.

  • o:11 fail, realy want a bearded dragon

  • Haha that happens to my one aswell. Locusts have such sticky feet!

  • " AHA! Now looks whos the one screaming for help! "

  • That was cute. I would probably die of laughter if I saw my beardie do that

  • smart cricket

  • 00:12 "cant get me now can ya bitch!" XD

  • aww lol...that happens to mine all the time, he doesn't shake it off though...he's lazy, so he waits until it jumps off

  • totallus will do that on some occasions.

  • are those 2 female beardies or a male an female

  • A male and female.

  • @METAVIRITE can you keep a male and a female together constantly without them breeding

  • These two, Yes. Others I cannot be certain.

  • how much does a bearded dragon cost

  • it depends, but at stores like prehistoric pets, babies(they're very small) cost eight dollars, and older ones can cost up to 150-500

  • if u go to conventions they way cheaper i got 2 for 35 and they were spitfires..

  • welll it is all about breed tpye i have a lawson dragon the smallest breadie and rarest the cost me 90$ for baby but they look cool and adults can be 200$ at cheap price but i knew the breeder sooo i got a discount.. :)

    gotta love beardies

  • cute :)

  • hahaha. that was funny

  • lmao she's probably thinking

" oo cricket for dinner!! *munch munch* -cricket jumps on her head-

    what the hell?!?"

  • i don't think i have ever laughed so hard

  • poor girl, she looked pissed to have that thing on her head

  • I recently adopted a bearded dragon from someone. I have no idea how old the dragon is... but he doesn't seem to be able to run like yours. From what I see his back legs are a big weak... anyone know the reason?

  • Weak?, are they crooked? Any visiable scars, lacerations and/or any other injurys. If not what makes you think that they are weak?

  • He's not injured and has no scars/lacerations of any sort. He just stumbles a lot when walking and doesn't seem to be able to move very quickly at all. I suspect his previous owner didn't provide adequate lighting leading to severe calcium deficiency...

  • That's exsactaly what I would suspect under those circumstances but it might be something more spesific such as MBD(Metabolic Bone Disease), symptoms would include: the dragon having troble walking, jaws soft and bent outward, backbone, pelvis, tail,and/or apendeges are crooked or bent, thighs swollen or hard to the touch, unexplained limb fractures,or if the dragon trembles or con vulses (occurs after other signs) but With adiquit care he should be ok.

  • hahahahahahha so cute

  • the cricket looks like an eye patch at 0:23 lol

  • I love them!

  • haha the cricket is on his/her head lol

  • those r big lizards

  • If you believe those are BIG you should look up those who possess moniter lizards.

  • thx bro :)

  • Your welcome.

  • lol your very wrong about calcium sand not causing impaction because it certainly will. But if their not eating it than there fine, I just wouldn't put any juvies in with it, but it seems like you got some adults there so cheers :)

  • hahaha safest spot for the cricket

  • whats the best sand to use.?

  • Well, I'm not exsactaly sure about what is designated the BEST!, but I use calci-sand because it is widely proported that it is very diegestable for bearded dragons.

  • the best sand is natural desert sand (which can be bought easily) because un like manufactured sand its grains are smooth and round (kinda like mini pebbles) where manufactured sands grains are little squares. calci sand encorages the animal to eat the sand best to avoid it. hope this helps! ;)

  • lol

  • he didnt get to eat the bastard! :D

  • at 0:9 - 0:11 he was like WTF is on my head lol

  • Nice Beardie's, I hate to say though, I do not like the sand in the tank :P

  • thank you, and why?

  • I never liked sand due to the risk of impaction. The idea of me hating sand is engraved in my head I think. I like the idea of sand, its easy to clean and stuff, looks natural, I just don't like the risk of Impaction.

  • well, I have had bearded dragons for five or six years now and I haven't seen any imactions yet. This sand is made so that it won't cause impaction.

  • Are they german giants

  • I'm not sure.

  • your bearded dragons are so cute

  • thank you.

  • super funny. look at her leg at 0:28 xDD

  • how old is yur bd Ps. they look awesome!

  • thank you and, the female (which is the one who got the cricket stuck on her head) is aproxamately a year and one month.

  • Np bro i suscribed to you so can you to me that would be aweosme anywhoo personaly i think that bd are the coolest reeptiles ever im geting mine next wednsay

  • is it ok to have one bearded dragon alon if i play with him or should i get two so they will be together? i have a 40 gallon tank btw

  • Yes it is quite alright to have one alone in a 40 gallon tank if you play with him, you see, bearded dragons are smei-social creatures, but only when they have to be mainly to ethier mate or settle territorial desputes. The way I see it is that they will be more entertained by you than each other, so if you get another one it should most of the time be for you, not for them.

  • lol mine dids that once he flinged his head back than ate it lol

  • I bet she was pissed.

  • lol hahahahaha
