Great job ...oh man ...I love Boston, I was so fuckin' sick when he died. He had 30 seconds on the news as a tribute, while the rest of the idiot world was watching for autopsy results for weeks about from that golddigger woman Anna Nicole Smith. Thanks for the post. More please. If I could make a request. 'Higherpower" that song kept me sober for years.

same here i did not no that this had happen thanks i have had my first boston cd since i hurd the outher soung [more than a feeling ]in the move men who stare at gouts i like all there soungs and i play theam where ever i can with my big old cd holder i got in vegeas 3 years ago and [Brad Delp] looks so happy in all the music videos of there soungs that theay did there may never be anouther band or singer like him ever in my time thanks for the page man boston rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!. his piercing stratopheric voice and Tom's ability to make the guitar sing was such a great combination, gave Boston that out of this world sound. and time-less for all generations to come after us. they represent the best part of what rock-n-roll is because they were perfectionists which got them into legal trouble but they wanted to give fans their best music efforts rather than care about making big bucks.

Perfect example of why perspective means shit. Here's Brad Delp, dedicating his life and music to fans, and we stand and cheer and scream for more. But we never seem to remember that whether they're rock and roll heroes or not, they have pain and sorrow, feel love and hurt just like you and I. Brad, I for one am sorry I didn't "take a look ahead". I was too busy yelling at you for more than you had to give. You've found your peace of mind now. Just enjoy it and fuck the what the rest think.

Today is the third Anniversary the the pain of his passing has still not gone away. I was fortunate enough to have known him from his Beatlejuice project and he was without a doubt the nicest guy in the world. He is missed.

It makes me very sad that Brad's gone. I just hope he's at peace in a great place (you too honey!). I think a lot about the line in "Field of Dreams" where Ray sees his dad and says something like "wow, look at him, the glint in his eye, before life wore him down". Life can really wear you down. The early recordings, where it was basically just Brad and Tom, is what attracted me to their music. The unique sound of Brad's vocals and Tom's licks are the aspects of Boston sound that I enjoy so much.

Hearing of how Brad died shocked me. As I recall, he was only months away from getting married and going on tour with Boston.

Brad wherever you are, I hope you have your own peace of mind now.

You can see Brad change over the years. Start by watching the early videos, late 70's, 80's he's great, having a good time, bouncing all over the stage, get in to the 90's, you'll notice a slight change, less smiling, demeanor is changing, get in to this decade and watch, the enthusiasm is gone, he tries, but he looks so unhappy, miserable. Watch closely, you can see the change Love ya Brad, I wish you knew how important your roll was in Boston, your voice was the signature & you were loved!

I grew up with Brad & Boston, it was bad enough what happened to the original members, Barry Goudreau, Fran Sheehan & Sib Hashian, but with out Brad, the Boston I knew & loved is history, he & his beautiful voice were irresistible, plus he had a way with the fans, he was just a kind, nice guy who never let his success go to his head!

awesome tribute...one of the greatest voices in rock n' roll...brings me back to the good ol' days...i still crank up my favorite song "Long Time" it never never gets old, better with time...got my 2 oldest kids hooked on Boston now...Brad left us much too soon...im sure hes lead singer up there with Hendricks on the lead guitar, Joplin, Lennon and Elvis doing harmony...RIP lost soul
