I know they mistake people for seals. That's not even the point. Just the fact that they attack something before they know exactly what it is proves my point. Not only that, a shark BITES to figure out what something is. So like I said, an instinctive killer, nothing more.

tosa's are from very old mastiff stock. they are very obediant, usually moreso to one dominant (usually male) owner. dont mess with a guy who owns a tosa. they're absolutely fearless. they have a tendency to try and establish a hierarchy with anything but adult humans, usually men again. a prized tosa is ripped like a boxer with some slight folding of the skin, and around 200 lbs. they bark very loud and use thier bark to guage reaction. if you're indimidated, he'll assert his dominance.
You seem to know about Tosas props, but I doubt anyone will run into a przed tosa unlees its another dog fighter in Japan(due the the extreamly high price). From what Ive seen most tosas of good quality are trained to not be man agressive in order to make seperating the fighting dog easier. i have a black tosa, grandson to katsurahomo. these dogs are the baddest on four leggs, not anyone can own a tosa. they are the absolute hottest of any dog breeds.

The shark was tired from fighting the line, but none the less, sorry to say I had to put my tosa down. He got mean with my daughter as she got older. I remember my Tosa barking at my pine tree, it was a racoon. The tree was about 8 inch round he ripped gnawed the tree in half and killed the racoon.

That is not a bullmastiff dummies ,its a Tosa Inu or a Tosa Ken. I bet my life that the dog in this video bites twice as hard as that shark. Tosa is a orential breed who is probally the most feirce dog on the planet. It has a jaw than crushes like a vice and a neck like a pine tree. They are smart loyal but not dog with other dogs or animals because of the extream prey drive.

I have to wonder what the owners of large game bred dogs like this are trying to compensate for? There are thousands of great, social breeds yet some insecure maniacs always need to get the largest and most fierce.

both of you forget that dogs and cats are not toys. under this misconception people buy the largest dog or the smallest they could find.

I dunno, that dog just jumped in the water and dragged a dead fish to the shore. My Grandpa's black lab would do the same. The shark was already dead.

uhhh the shark dove momentarily and is only a natural reflex for survival, whos to say you werent hold the shark back as well with your rod, not to mention it is blatantl obvious that the shark was completely exhausted, i surely hope you do not think that your tosa could manage to take that shark in the water under different circumstances (i.e. a fresh and hungry shark) even though that size shark would not go after it. Its a great breed but dont be a fool.

Any man needing a macho or badass dog certainly is compensating for a lack of penis size and manliness on his part. It's a shame they would put such a loyal- beautiful dog in harms way to prove how small their penis is (I meant how badass they are). Get a dog because you love the breed and it fits your family and lifestyle, not because you're lacking something in yourself and need to show off. Sad....people actually think it's cool.

im sorry buddy but this dog has a black nose as you can clearly see in the video,red noses are full red coloured dogs and tosas also has red colour but with a black mask in their nose and ears and this dog is more taller than a pigme rednose ;)

rigdebacks are slimer than this dog,tail is normal,and becareful to ears jumping before boat,when dogs are swimming most of them do like that and remember like pits all size of tosas u can find,much bigger taller slimer vs.
