sure we have the abrahamic religions being based on egyptian history and now all of a sudden all the thousand of religions from india, china, japan, pagan europe, indian america and south america are all of a sudden doing to same thing. Use your head before talking nonsense I'm sure these days many religions change stuff now they being under pressure of science but not all religions originate in the same way as the abrahamic religions.
I went to the website and listened to both interviews. Very interesting. Google books also has some of Ellis' books, online. I've watched Jacobovicci's Exodus Decoded which identifies Mt. Sinai as Hashem El Tarif on the Sinai peninsula. This seemingly puts him at odds with Ellis. Since Ellis believes in two Exoduses, I wonder if he would consider the possibility of a second Mt. Sinai?
no the thing is that both exoduses take place from egypt. The first of pharaoh jacobaam, the second of ackenaton. Both where in egypt both refer to the same places. The two exoduses where just merged. Both are talking about the piramids.
What Ellis proves is that biblical chronology is a condensation & displacement of people, places & events. Therefore, if you can combine 2 events, you can combine 2 locations. Hashem El Tarif also fits the bible. In general, Ellis refers to Sinai as The Giza Pyramids but only proves it from the standpoint of Akhenaten & not Jacob. While Jacobovici produced no artifacts, that doesn't mean artifacts don't exist dating to Akhenaten or a 16th century BC, Hyksos presence at Hashem El Tarif.
I read thoth gaotu and many books from other writers and/but disagree with the idea of sinai (the consensus named geographic area) and the pyramid itself as being the site referred to when placing its location, as ralph ellis would have us believe. The true area is known as the Transcalpation and/or caucasius mountains by land magnitude and old testament indications. Where else would you put the original dwelling of the caucasian races? also; horite= hor, horace, hrace, graeco, greece.
The Old Testament is fascinating! But you have to read between the lines! The God of the OT is a meanie! The teachings of Jesus should be the historical standard for theology and ethics! This holds, even if the Ellis theories are correct!
all religions do the same. take what they want change what they don't.but it not their fought they were taght that aswell
