So let me get this straight

You always have red,blue,and green phases

At beginning red is carnivore,blue is omnivore and green is Herbivore

then red is aggressive,blue neutral and green friendly...and civ stage-red is military,u gain cities with destroying,blue is economic,then you buy cities...

But green i don't understand...I know its religious,but you have to bring that hologram,and it doesn't work if you don't attack the city??So you have to attack and convert them at same time??

It doesn't, it targets sad cities and takes them over peacefully. They can attack but do minimal damage. When you deal with happy cities that won't convert, you can use them to temporarily disrupt turrets and entertainment buildings, making them sad.
