Sordo is a fucking machine on tarmac.

Very nice. It's difficult to judge just by watching the onboard, how close to the limit Dani is when cornering. What's noticeable though is that while Latvala (in another onboard) makes his progress smoother -- the braking is a tad gentler and distributed on a longer distance before a corner; he also uses left-foot-braking quite profusely -- Dani goes more "on-off" on the gas and the brakes.

It's also interesting how he actually uses almost no gas in the corners: no gentle work on the pedal -- just "sailing through" corners and flooring it on the exits.

And I like tarmac very much! There's no sense, in my opinion, trying to determine which surface tests the driver more or which one is more entertaining. Ralling is great (among other reasons) exactly because of this diversity.

Why do you dislike the tarmac so much? Isn't it great seeing how the driver has to know exactly the grip level so as to be able to drive round a corner on using the full of the available traction?
