We use this song to scare the cat out from under the desk when he tries to attack the cords... this song makes the sub-woofer a scary thing for him! Hahaha! :D Also just an all around awesome track and band.
I don't think that EMB could ever be an insult. The term came from a member of Kraftwerk to describe their danceable electronic punk of the Man-Machine album. If it's from them, it's not degrading. It just means you can dance to it.
It is indeed aggrotech, end of story. EBM stands for "Electronic Body Music" - which is definitely one degreading term, appealing to submerging music into some mere body stimulation. Anyone using the term, has no organ to sense vision in music. Without vision, music is nothing but noise. Hence the argument, which is somewhat like arguing about warm and cold colours with someone who was born blind. The other extreme is the genuinely talentless überartistic goth cattle, but that's another story.
@blacksheep666x what is irrelevant to what, exactly? should you try, with little success so far, refer to any two contentual references in my previous comment, maybe it's just you not understanding it. nevermind, you know, people get by anyway, having nice jobs in tesco and the alike. You'll be fine, do not worry, just follow the rest.
@decemberthirtytwo my comment is irrelevant. :) nothing against you or your idea. it makes alot more sense than most people arguing the same point. i had to go "moo" cuz the word cattle triggered the immaturity in me :D
@kos023 Beware of incorrectly naming music genres. The music Nazis will get you, such as myself. But I'm pretty stomped on what to call this... Most other bands I can say exactly what it is. This is just like Die Sektor, to me. If you called them just industrial, you'd be wrong, because they mix the sound of trance, wierd spacey sounds, mechanical noises, and noise in their music. Not bad, for a band straight out of Georgia. They're pretty godly I'll add this to the list of undefinable genres.
@megaswenson Yeah, it's Aggrotech. Aggrotech is essentially defined as any harsh electro-industrial band, which, as you can clearly hear, this band fits the "harsh" undoubtedly. Genres aren't that complicated, people just make them so.
Awesome!

@ZombieWolfe Or Aggrotech...one of the two...or both!

It has strong elements of power noise and aggrotech. If we wanted to play it safe we'd simply call it industrial but that's too much of a catch-all.
