I dont know why but it seem like people care more about a animals well being over a human and they always say "well animals are defenseless and helpless" NO THEY ARE NOT they can take care of themselves in the wild but I will tell you who is "defenseless and helpless" its the children the toddlers out there being abused and neglected what about the poor childern out there that suffer from aids and all kinds of diseases that people hardly care about but they rather run to a damn dogs rescue BULL.

@illmatic826 People don't care more about animals, that's why these animals are in this state and are far too overpopulated. Also, they've been domesticated so no they can't survive out in the wild; not happily. Being able to take care of themselves in the wild doesn't help them if they're chained to a tree in a backyard or left in a shelter cage, which is what this video is about.

@illmatic826 The problem is that the human race cares more about themselves than any other race and we believe animals are disposable because they can't speak up for themselves. Sure they're food and whatnot but that doesn't mean they can't suffer.

I agree that children are starving, diseased, neglected and abused everyday but who's to say we can't care for the children AND the animals all at once? It's not difficult; just a little compassion and love is all they need.

Why do people do this? Those sadistic losers. These animals, no animal, deserves to be neglected, strarved, or beaten. It's not funny, or a game. Everyone who does this deseves to go to jail. I don't believe that people who can treat animals this way are human. The ones who help them, rescue them, love them, rehabilitate them, and give them a second chance. They are human. Those that cause this suffering of innocent, trusting, gracious animals are evil. So sad, but I will hang on to the glimmer of hope shown at the end of the video. It is all I can do.

I have started caring for 8 homeless cats currently living on the streets as they are, but I am just one person and I need help. One has a very bad eye that needs to be removed. I am going to adopt one of the cats but I cannot take the others because I already have 3 cats apartment wont allow but I am trying to get them fixed with a free spay/neuter program in Sacramento California. I was somewhat just at a shelter and adoption place there was a lot of cats.......1 had only 1 eye......there were a lot of dogs.......there was 1 named charlie i named 2 of them. Eclair and Bruno. If you've never seen a grown man cry, you would have just seen it now. It's hard to fathom sometimes how humans can be so cruel. I don't care what anyone says, animals DO have a soul and they have feelings just as we do. I am thankful that here in America they persecute those who abuse and neglect their pets. i work in an animal shelter and sadly it is my job to put to sleep the cats and dogs that are beyond help! Stop the animal abuse. If you can't look after an animal, don't have one! But the best thing people can do is adopt an animal from a shelter. They are the most loving and beautiful animals. You will have a best friend for life!

I've seen some sick things people have done to poor animals while working at the Woodford Humane Society in Versailles, KY. It sickens me to see how far people will go to "show dominance" to animals when all animals want is the love and affection they deserve.:(

I happened upon this video by "accident", or

was it?? I stayed up all night and forced

myself to watch hundreds of videos like this

one. I felt all the things that the rest of you that commented felt, but rather than just

"bitch" about it, I went out and rescued 2 dogs in one week. That brings my total to 5

rescued dogs, 8 cats, 8 horses, and 5 rabbits.

People always ask me why I have so many, and

I say "thats because too many people have too few, and I am carrying the load for others.

That is great. Tha.t's my reply for why I have 8 cats and 2 dogs. Would have more dogs, but my one doesn't like them much. I do, however, manage to foster feral/abused/neglected kittens and/or cats. We've found homes for 50+. It's the greatest thing in the world, knowing that you've saved a life.
