One of the best. Those hollow sounding super loud pipes and fast idling engines, you can keep em. This is a Harley. My 1340 is like this but a bit more random about when it decides to fire. This is what Harley patented.
Can't get enough of that sound! Wonder how much rougher it can be made with a bigger cam without it stalling constantly, cam it to where it'll barely idle and almost die seemingly every moment?
@Patriot1776 When harley came out with the P cams, JUMBO valves, and re-designed the intake ports it finally gave them the edge over the Triumph and BSA in the mid-sixties. That sound is the sound of 4 separate gear-driven "angry" cams pulling away from a Boneville or a Thunderbird, and the vibration is Tremendous. I've carefully looked at the rise/duration of other cams but the heads would have to be redone and the gain is VERY MINIMAL. Whoever designed the P CAM was a genius.
