Lol, I did a Wiki search of this, and believe it or not, this game was made by a group of Christian programmers. Maybe they were promoting movies or something.

But what, did Noah do animal abuse? What the frik, it says on a review that the animals don't get 'hurt' (not surprisingly) but they just get knocked out.

Wait a sec, no, it was made by Wisdom Tree, and not to promote any movies or anything, but just to get some money (and failed horribly at it).

And yes, it is actually true that this game is a revenge to the fact that WolfSNES was sh*tted up.

ID software gave the source code to Wisdom Tree (aka Ripoff Tree) to make a parody of the game. Well, something like that happened, I dont fully remember, but someone above has already stated this in the comments.

No, Wisdom Tree found the source code and made a game like it, probably so that they wouldn't think they were going to hell for playing violent games. ID got mad and released the full source code for Noah's ark 3d as revenge.

Pretty much, Wisdom Tree (the guys who have been making loads of unlicensed games) didn't like the way that Wolvenstein on SNES had been butchered up any pussy-ed. So ID gave them the code and they made this. To bypass Nintendo's lockout chip, you had to load another game into the first one - it looked almost like a game genie.

There's a good reason for that. Id Games, the makers of Wolfenstein 3D, were mad about the way they butchered such a great PC game, so with thoughts of revenge on their mind, they teamed up with Wisdom Tree to make this top-loader game. Simply plug in another game on top to get it to work.
