  • Awesome! I gave it 5 stars!

I only wish the camera is zoom in closer to your hands.

  • too fast and some extra notes plugged in...

  • This piece is stupidly hard to play even at a slower tempo. The accuracy and relaxation you've achieved at the correct tempo is impressive! Great job. You played it wonderfully!

  • My goodness... You've taken my breath away...

  • ほんとにすごい!

  • Nop Bewitched30. The tempo is exactly what it´s on the score. Another things is that this tempo is not easy at all because specially for the repeated notes and the finale. Splendid version. Very spanish version! :-) And don´t forget Ravel loves Spain. Wonderful played. Bravo Maestra!

  • good analysis u have there =)

    cheers

  • Isnt this too fast?

  • Just listened to this again and realized I was hearing notes that are in the music, that I haven't heard come through in any other recording. How fantastic

  • Keep up the good work. You obviously very talented with keen understand of your music. Your playing has brought memories back from my high school years. Thank you.

  • la suono meglio io huahuahuhauhauha

  • I really enjoyed it. Nice to see musicality supercede technicality (even though your playing was technically jaw-dropping too)

  • A MOST IMPRESSIVE performance of a piece that bristles with technical and musical pitfalls! Even more impressive as it is live and unedited! I enjoyed this immensely. You have made this piece your own. Brava! More, please!!

  • Beautifully played. So much feeling.

  • Thank you so much !! ;) I really appreciated your comments.

  • I must say, I really like your performance. I also played this piece some time ago, and im currently practicing again to play again ^^ But there really is depth to your interpretation and it's a very convincing performance. I'd be glad to watch more of your playing.^^

  • Thank you so much for your nice comments !! I hope I can put some more my performance videos in the future. ;) Good luck for your practicing and performance of this piece, too.

  • Very impressive performance! I've never heard such an expressive version of the Alborada del Gracioso. I especially liked how you played the double glissandos. How do you do that? When ever I try, my hands always get stuck to the keys. Haha. Was this a piano competition? Anyways very nice job. I'm only starting to learn the first two from the set: Noctuelles and Oiseaux Tristes. Do you have any advice for learning the entire Miroirs? Thanks.

  • Thank you for watching my performance ! I listened the orchestra version of this piece which sounds lighter than double glissando on a piano and I use some trick for the double glissando not to force it. According to the Casadesus edition, "Ravel did not care whether the glissando was performed with one or two notes. He said it depended on the keyboard." So I practiced with single glissando first and added a second note later. That way you can feel free to play double glissando. Try it !

  • By the way, it was not a piano competition. It was a part of a concert at a church. It is nice to learn whole piece from Miroirs but I have not done entire Miroirs yet. I hope I can do that in the future.

    Thank you again ! ;)
