I guess since his web site that supposedly has the links to the "Official NASA web sites" that contain the images is non-existant, some would say that it's a conspiracy! ;-)
So you get the same view angle of the "mountain" from each of the camera's different positions?
Even a slight change in angles will produce a different landscape in photos.
You have a good eye to have spotted this "Mountain" showing up from the SAME visible angle in various photos which had supposedly been taken at very different angles.
Who knows, maybe there's a mountain on the moon that looks the same from every angle. ..And also the same no matter how close or far away you are.
Kubrick Odyssey! Great movie that might shine some light on this. Hint Kubrick used this pre-green screen technology back when he filmed 2001 A Space Odyssey. The film shows this same foreground/background line and why it is there. Also it appears Kubrick filmed both the moon landings and 2001 at the same time back in 1967. If you look into it the cameras they took to the moon don't work at temperature lower that -50 below zero F. They needed visuals to sell the public NASA staffed with Nazis!
I went into Google Earth, and that mound with the lighter mound in front appears to be the 'East Massif'. Using the ruler tool, I measured the distance of the closest/tallest peak of it to the landing site to be from 14-15km, just to give you an idea of how far that is, the farthest point on the traverse map to the farthest point on the opposite side was 11km (so 11km across at the widest part, or 6.5 miles), it's far away!
Also, on this mission, they were using the rovers to cruise around
@EthanNin0 Addendum: Most Hi Res pics only show the North and South Massifs so if you go into Google Earth, it's going to be south east of the South Massif and north east of 'Mons Vitruvius'. You can just barely see the lower left corner of it being dark and shadowed.
Be advised, the stills in this video and the pictures you can view from Google Earth appear to be taken at different times of the day.
But from that, you can see just how far away it is. More of a mountain then a mound.
You're surprised the lunar surface has similar features throughout? That's kinda its defining features. Especially with low resolution images, it's impossible to say those are the "exact" same features.
With the absence of atmosphere and moving about on a sloping flat surface with Massive mountains in the background plus a high resolution image equals a perspective that the human eye can't distinguish. Ever been on the prairie by the mountains, and try to judge your distance from them by eye? Now remove air as well. Do some homework instead of just looking at pictures Idiot.
the astronauts took panoramic photos of the landing site in every geology station , you here show only photo in one direction , you still must show the other photos
or....what if they are really land? but for some reasons, they cut out the real image and put fake image to cover something they dont want us ti know?...just what if?
It's so totally obvious. That mountain is just a loong distance away. Even here on Earth one can, for example, travel by car or train, and if the landscape is unobstructed, one can see the same mountain at the horizon while moving several miles.
If one studies the mountain thorougly, one can see that the angle has changed between the locations.
Totally obvious that there's no need of any "hoax" to produce these pictures. Just a little common sense and good eyes.
@YDDES ... really "far away" yeah right, how far do you think it is, shill? NASA fell alseep again in the 70s, got sloppy, or whistleblowers are at work ... apollo never went to moon, face it, jig is up--can't pile on me here with other shills and ban me, tough luck haha
@pt1gard Well, Its easy to just yell "FAKE!" if one not tries to show any credible evidence that it WAS fake. So, clearly speaking, Your comments here are totally uninteresting. You can just spare the time it takes to write them. But, perhaps You have nothing more interesting to do?
@YDDES ... hell shill, good to know only your comments are worthwhile, like the nasa scum you snap to .... any thoughts how buzz sells all his items at ridic prices, what a huckster, drunk who cant even talk about what it was like w/o falling to pieces .... least Armpit sits in hiding and shuts up, dropping clues it was a hoax lmfao
Well there is Twin Peaks ,so what is wrong with six twin peaks ? ;) Now ,the Americans cant get right a war and kill their own or alies in a friendly fire ,imagine what would be like gitting to the moon ?
#Oh ,is that the moon its a bit red and there is a lot of stones !
*Shit dude ,we are on Mars !!! And they have Mcdonalds too...
#Sorry guys this is Huston ,aaaaam . This is actually Morocco ,we must of given you the wrong landing coordinates ,but do take a few picks so we have something fabricate when you come back . Oh ya and the locals are Muslim but friendly so do refrain from shooting them and I got to tell ya ,the local food is amazing!
That's not a hill. That's a big ass mountain. Moving a few kilometers won't change the view a lot, especially since there's no atmosphere to blur the view.
Okay, let's see... Common sense would tell me that if I did a hoax more than once, the probability of it being TOTALLY, INDISPUTABLY busted increases EXPONENTIALLY (simple logic).. Now ADD the fact that the Russians AND the Chinese would LOVE to disprove and expose those "fake" missions, since they can easily take photos from their probes & modules in space. FTW, the LRO just took recent "fake" photos of 17's landing site. Mythbusters busted it- becha still won't get it!
@tonytakesvideos get off the russian angle, they faked yuri and their shit, and tell me how often govs come in and say the usa faked killing OBL or false flags in Iraq, wtf up, you are living in disneyland
Well its evidence that these are faked photoes put up by NASSA themselves. They never allowed for youtube, facebook, twitter, myspace, and the world wide web when they thought they could dupe the public back in the late 60,s and early 70,s
If these pictures really are genuine then there is a simple explanation. The mound and mole etc are on a mountain many miles away with its base over the short lunar horizon so its in the background no matter where they were. Its a bit like being in lots of different place in Denver, the same Rockies are still in the background.
@kitbots Hmmm...only one problem with this though.wheres the LM.Also you are suggesting the extraordinary premise that the astronauts on taking pics went...wait no..stand over there so we can get that background in.The pictures prove they are fake not touched up.Each film is immediately copied/ handed over to other bodies to protect against being destroyed.
@pt1gard Yeah so seeing a so called anomaly in a "pic" disproved the moon landings? Your watching an edited video on YouTube asshole. NASA is the reason that America is what it is, yet there are scumbag dumb asses like you who everyday prove the moon landings as false with shitty videos that don't even comprehend the reality of what's happening.
images prove nothing; everyone knows NASA has a huge ego. Physics, although you wouldn't know anything about it, are the decisive proof that the landings were real; and any physicist you ask will tell you they were real.
@sokinisgood Go find the video called "We didn't go to the moon", uploaded by UFOetry I believe. Read all of the comments from me, and then you'll know "who I am" to talk about this. Warning, you will feel "pwned".
the thing I love is that I've never seen one person from the conspiracy group that was a scientist, or even a four year graduate in a science. its always people that are completely unqualified to talk about the subject, talking about the subject. go figure.
this is the first post I have read that mentioned what I had noticed, that was the fact that Houston was speaking to the astronauts, a quarter of a million miles away, in real time, as if they were next door. I seriously doubt that with the funny looking electronics they were using, including the headsets, and phones, they could possibly speak in real time, there would HAVE had to have been terrible lag. That to me is a smoking gun that would be hard to discredit
@fumingchicken Impossible to discredit for anyone who has watched a live report in which the reporter is thousands of miles away. And we squirm in our seats watching the time delay make the reporting difficult, and discussion between desk jockey and roaming reporter pained! Also funny watching people who reckon themselves 'space experts', or physicists, trying to explain how SOUND, travelled at the speed of LIGHT. Hysterical!
Even more shockingly, SOUND doesn't even travel through space at all!!! Which means they would have had to communicate with earth via something REALLY crazy, like...oh....just off the top of my head....RADIO WAVES. I know, I know, sounds crazy.....sounds almost like magic!
@TheZerothDegree Okay....Now, can you tell me the SPEED at which RADIO WAVES travel at? Really....
This should be interesting.... Then perhaps you'd like to listen to communcations between Earth, and the "moon", and explain the near immediate responses at times...You may want to brush up on that communication delay thing by watching network newscasters speaking with overseas reporters...
Now, if that doesn't awaken the inner critic, NOTHING will!
The speed of radio waves? Oh. Well that would be light speed, good sir :)
And yes, in every communications I've heard between earth and the moon, there have been appropriate delays (remember the delay only happens one way - the end who are recording the conversation don't intentionally wait two seconds before replying to a message, so their responses WILL be instant)
Well let's recap - YOU were the one who thought people communicated long distance by soundwaves, instead of radiowaves. And you didn't know radiowaves, being part of the EM spectrum, travel at the speed of light. These facts can be easily looked up....anywhere
So who needs to take a physics class? :) And yes, I'm a troll - I don't bother uploading. What's your point?
@TheZerothDegree Of course you are a troll...And this, my last transmission to yet another troll holds the key to your ignorance! You ready! GULLIBILITY!
Now go back to troll school...You didn't use gay, or fag once! Your dissappointing your troll brethren!
@TheZerothDegree Ah...just checked your channel...Understood. Another YT troll, with no uploads, no life...no common fucking sense, or level of intelligence above that of a slug....Go back under your bridge. Sorry I disturbed your wait for billy goats!
Nowadays, kids play with slowmotion. In the 60's, NASA played with slow-motion. And it makes me so much laugh when people say USA actually landed people there... Take some comparisons between American version of lunar albedo versus russian version on the same terrain. You'll learn that unlike American, Russian feels much more natural and logical (compare Apollo 11 shadow side of LM and Luna 17). Also, notice the curvings in shape of a circle in russian distance and American flatness in distance.
to the moon occurred. If this is true, then it might also have to be true that billions weren't spent on those expeditions. And if billions weren't spent, then it could very well cost much, much less to create "fabrications".
In my estimation, the is a very simple, yet affordable solution to all of this - come forward. That is, anyone with specific knowledge or evidence could come forward at no cost to taxpayers. In other worlds, what does it cost to tell the truth?
@PoliCy909 Some people love life more than the truth. That's what it would have cost you 20 years ago to try and come forward with free knowledge, your life. Anyone with a functioning reasoning brain would have figured that one out.
@mtszabo: You're absolutely right - Economically, it might not be in the best interest of the United States to pursue a return trip to the moon at this time. However I must clarify: the "we" in my comments refers to mankind, or humanity, not just the "USA" alone.
So, I also agree with you that any future endeavor(s) should/ought include international parties, whether they be individuals and/or nation-states.
But if I may, I believe that the premise of the film is to say that no trip to the
I very much enjoyed this short! I think you are spot on with the implication that skepticism can once again be healthy!
@iamShyran: I totally agree with you! - one of the fundamental tenets to the scientific method is that of replication. Thus, if man has been to the moon in the recent past (40-50 years, or so), then why couldn't we, with our supposed advanced technology return once more?
Because it costs a boatload of money that we (USA) don't have. I mean, we (USA) just dismantled the Space Shuttle program altogether...
Of course, there's nothing stopping the Europeans from going. Personally, I think we ought to have a truly international space program dedicated to pure research with the eventual aim of getting off of our ever-shrinking rock.... but, hey, that would require independent countries to actually cooperate.
I enjoy watching this shit. Why? It's an entertainment. But surely it's not anything more than that. Knowing that majority actually thinks of this movie as an actual real footage of man landing on the moon makes my laughter out of control. It's so ridicolous, just look at it! Oh no, I'll pop! Look at this shit! It's Apollo! Why can't I find it on IMDb I'd give it 7 out of 10!
Gotta love "hoaxers" who know nothing about science trying to use "Earth" tactics to judge distance on the Moon. I don't see any stars in the photos either, it MUST be fake.
I am positive that the moon landing was quite real, and that the footprints are still there. I do question why we are always looking at the same mound/mountain in all of these photos. Why not pan around with those excellent cameras? Even if it is similar boring desolate landscapes, we paid top dollar to see anything and everything they encountered, without the obvious smudgings and other optical games.
People who don't think the moon landing is fake, Plz tell me why we haven't gone back. Imagine what we should be able to do this many years later. How many space ships have blown up since then or never made it to outer space.
@iamShyran I think several reasons. One might be that there are artifacts of intelligent design, not put there by us, that we are not meant to see. Whoever left them might still be there. We might still be there. There has long been a secret space program, and those that doubt this can see documentary films about a parallel space program run by the CIA and others, that have begun to come out. If they kept that hidden well for 40 years, what else lies well hidden that we haven't seen yet?
You almost have to be a certified imbecile to believe that moving 2 or 3 miles left, right, forward or backwards means that a mountain range that is 30 miles away will look much different. The fact that this video got over a 100 likes is either a testimony to the intellectual poverty of youtubers or a few multi-channel butt-cheesers having a thumbs-up party.
Besides, only self absorbed fools think they are smarter than 40+ years worth of science & engineering. Only delusional conspiritards and 'twoof seekers' see their own 'evidence'.
Hahaha. There are so many conspiracy theory idiots out nowdays: truthers, birthers, deaders but the moon hoaxers were the original morons. Those aren't "hills" in the background, those are mountains that make up the beginning of a huge mountain range known as Taurus Littrow. They were miles away from the landing site and stood at over 10,000 feet in elevation.
@LonghornPhysicist Remove the shit from your eyes and look again. The pictures are totally 'flat', there is no depth to the background and there is a distinct dividing line between the foreground and the 'mountains'. This phenomenon does not occur naturally and is evidence of photos taken in a studio environment. Level and elevated land are NOT separated by a line, they blend gradually to one another. Look around you.
@Chev4206 you experience here on earth, because of earth atmosphere. The presence of atmosphere on earth (and water, in vapor form and liquid form in suspension) helps us to tell approximately the distance of an object, or a mountain. There's no such experience on moon since there's no atmosphere and no water in the air.
The non-presence of the phenomenon made thought first astronaut on moon that they could reach object by foot. The object seem to be "near" them.
@Chev4206 After a walk, they made out that the object was gigantic, and far away from them. I think someone tells me that next missions was equiped with some theodolyte to evaluate distance.
If there's a completely implausible and ridiculous explanation for this you can bet the nasa apologists will find it. When they saw the cartoon sketches of Sadam's mobile chemical vans they thought they were actual on site photographs !
I wonder if the believers believe the aliens too? I think that one is the disinformation to put people off track. Many fall for the alien story because to believe it means that they went to the moon.
Well the angle of the mountain and it's relative height due to topography at different locations would definitely give a different view of Bear Mountain. it wouldn't always be in the same place at the same time! I think instead they did land there and took all there pics from one spot because at the other sites there was more to see than the gov.t was willing to release! I've been to Denver and the rockies do look a little different from Fort Collins than they do from downtown Denver! Anglewise.
to be honest there is nothing too surprising about this video. If you have come to the conclusion, from this video, that the moon landing was fake, you have just been mind fucked. To be honest the main thing i was wonderin when watching this video was what the song was.
@Chev4206 read Lunar Tuner's comment. makes a very good point, and basically removes all credibility from the ideas expressed in the video. sure, you can use this as some sort of indication that the footage is not what you expected. but it is by no means whatsoever fact that the moon landing was faked.
Although it doesnt look too far away, Neil Armstrong himself said that he and other astronauts had trouble judging distances on the moon. maybe something to do with the lack of atmosphere, i dunno, im no expert.
if carl sagan believes we may one day, in the not so distant future, colonise the moon then thats good enough for me. The man is a genius with experience in these matters far beyond our own and although I am not stating I believe the moon landings to be either true or false I would accept Sagans opinion on the matter without question... Anyone know if he has ever made such a statement? If so please direct me.
So you're telling me NASA spent all this money to pull off these really elaborate hoaxes, only to reuse the same set, hoping no one would notice.I've suspended less belief watching cartoons.
@TylerTime955 Maybe they knew a whole army of simpletons such as yourself would swallow any crap they put out there. Maybe you should do us all a favor and stick to cartoons.
Why didn't you show any of the pictures side by side? Were you afraid people would be better able to see differences in them?
Lunar Tuner was exactly right. I made a video with the "missing LM" photo pair where I show that the two pictures were taken about a mile apart. Distant background objects change very little. I made a Google moon flyby in it. Enjoy. Learn.
Who labeled those photos as distinct, numbered sites? The font matches the same type used in the video's cue cards which are placed between the photos.
The United States Of America went to The Moon, all the entire Apollo Missions involved Suceeded, and where accounted for.
This is someone s B.S. agenda at Conspiracy on NASA,give me a break,
But I ll tell you something that I truly believe,Apollo 11 found something up there that has been kept out of the Media ,and away from The Public, for fear of Social Disorder,There was some kind of finding,something......but the films shown in here, are not 100%
@Simwebby This vid and dozens of others make the argument, and I can come up with some other arguments as well, to show it was a all a phony. But evidence/proof/scientific method doesnt count with any of you people. In your lexicon nothing is provable, no not that even you yourself exist. You guyz dont seem to be able to walk a straight line from Building 7 to "it's an inside job" that it conclusively IS. Period! ("depends on what the meaning of is iz? !!!! Oy-Vey!)
Not very observant are you, johanbjorkmandotcom . Look at your own evidence. Most notably the "Rocks in a line". Notice the difference in the angle? At station 4 they are pointing almost directly at the camera " I " . At station 9 they are pointing at about a 60 degree angle " \ " , top left to bottom right. The perspective of the mountains is very different also. Pay attention to details, noob. You deniers ignore real evidence.
I love a good conspiracy theory if it has some facts that only fit in the theory (evidence). This one on the other hand is easy to figure out if you use Google Earth to go to the moon at the landing site and see how that hill looks from all the stations. There are plenty of other theories to investigate to conclude conspiracy.
Oh, I live in Denver. When I travel 3 miles away they do look different and they are way larger than that hill on the moon. The main difference would be in the foreground. A small hill from 3 miles farther away at a different angle is going to look different. Elevation and point of view are different. These pics are all done at almost the exact, same angle and point of view. The bases are all at different angle points "different point of view". The hill would not look the same. Somethings wrong.
Dude they don't look the same. Look at his own evidence. Most notably the "Rocks in a line". Notice the difference in the angle? At station 4 they are pointing almost directly at the camera " I " . At station 9 they are pointing at about a 60 degree angle " \ " , top left to bottom right. The perspective of the mountains is very different also. Just like around Denver. (Been there, hate the city. Love the mountains) Pay attention to details, noob. You deniers ignore real evidence.
@Moonstone255 I'm not a noob and I do pay attention to the details that is why I can see what you can't. I have been studying this crap since 1991. I believe we did go to the moon but I believe that some of the photos and data were faked for reasons unknown. Why would reference marks be behind items and equipment. YOU need to look at all the evidence not just a couple of things and then act like an expert, which none of us are here.
There are a lot of people that were born too late to have the experience with film photography. Way before Photoshop, photo manipulation was well advanced and common. Photo enhancement has been around for over 100 years. Just because PShop wasn't around back then doesn't mean that it couldn't happen.
Also, even if the bases and points of footage are in the same area, they would be at completely different angles not at the same angle 100 ft farther away.
@Jsworld1980 ... spoken like a true neo-con... you've said something really dumb there... but I i don't see anyone looking to have you locked up. live and let live... or in your case... stop watching FOXXXXX.
@gibsyboy sorry gibsy.. didn't mean to startle ya.. lol... it was made in the context of some of the other comments goin on around yours... wasn't tryin to diminish the fact you were making...
Too bad YOU didn't do our own doublecheck! You're looking at the East Massif Mountain range from the Taurus-Littrow valley. That "mound" is Bear MOUNTAIN about 12 miles away from the LM in front of the "hill" East Massif about 30 miles away. It's a mountain probably over 6,000 ft. tall. Relative to a 3 mile traverse to station 4 (toward the mountain from the LM), you won't see any change.
Imagine living in Denver, CO & traveling 3 miles. Do you think the Rocky Mountains change much?
@LunarTuner On earth if your on the ocean you can only see about 17miles out (on a clear day) due to the curvature of the earth and seeing things in detail are out of the question near that distance, even with todays high resolution cameras. The shots don't seem to have a perspective anywhere near 12 miles with the type of cameras they are using. I'm not saying your information is wrong but the pictures don't really back up your data.
@LunarTuner Well I was just saying clear day on earth to mimic more moon like conditions (yes far at best) but I guess my point is...even in the Colorado mountain range even though i'm driving closer to them and they don't change much I can still tell there distance is really far due to the perspective of the horizon and the relative mountain range. I guess you could be 100% correct with you data about the distances between the LM and other sites but it doesn't look like it in the pics is all.
@PEEPsAirsoft, your making a subjective observation. You have to remember that this is the moon--an unfamiliar place. There is no Rayleigh scattering there and the horizon is closer than here. I imagine it would look like you could reach out and each mountain. At any rate, I know it would look different than earth.
@sokinisgood, and you are a genius for calling me names like a child on a playground? At last count, my statement had 17 thumbs up. Let's see you beat that. Try making a rational response.
@LunarTuner GO KILL YOURSELF!!!IM SERIOUS...K I L L Y O U R S E L F ! ! ! IT' S NOT ONLY THE SAME MOUNTAIN BUT AT THE SAME VIEW TOO!!!EVEN 10 MILES AWAY..LET'S KEEP THE FACT THAT EVEN 10 MILES AWAY IT'S THE SAME MOUNTAIN..BUT U MUST BE MORRON TO ACCEPT THAT IT WILL BE AT THE SAME VIEW TOO!!!WTF MAN??BRAIN AT THE SIZE OF A PEANUT...
@sokinisgood, sorry to disappoint you, but I won't kill myself. Too many people like me & I have too much fun watching people like you whose greatest discover in life is the caps lock key. You're just too entertaining! You'll have to wait for me to die or come and kill me yourself. ;)
The moon program was great..must beat out the evil USSR NASA just have a good things gone wrong. No lies live for ever.for too much thing that don't add up for me to take it seriously. i don't believe men walk on the moon.
we need to enter the moon landing with a open mind ...for me there someone playing with our intelligent really....... i know the time will come when the truth or lie will come out, nothing stay in the dark for ever.
The Moon has no atmosphere, and so therefore it is very difficult to accurately gauge distances with the naked eye while on the surface of the Moon itself or when viewing, as we are here, pictures of markings and features on the surface. The route taken by Cernan and Schmidt was roughly circular with the hill as a constant reference point in their itinerary. It is the same hill in every photograph and there is nothing mysterious or fishy about that, because the astronauts are in the same area.
@dickvandonk So there's a convenient rise in surface that obscures the 10+ km of Moon surface leading to the mountains in the numerous photos taken miles apart! But there's NOT ONE showing the rock-and-crater strewn surface of the mountain lead-up?
Sorry, it's a back-drop for a film-set and the vague line where it begins can be made out and it crosses the entire picture from left to right in the photos.
Nixon's faked Apollo missions have really sucker-punched people like you!
@sergemck the funniest is video of Apollo11 when astronauts fall and displace dirt and the dirt falls immediately to the ground as if in Earths` gravity not the Moons`.Same as the 'dune buggy',its wheels displace dirt which falls to the ground as if in Earth`s gravity.NASA are tooooo silly.
Not so silly as to be able to acquire $25.4 billion of Federal Budget from the United States Congress for the 13 year program of the Apollo missions (1969 dollars).
How do you think they accounted for that amount of funding by the US government?
"Oh, we went into a studio and faked it all. The rest we spent on having a good time".
Think that would have been acceptable to Congress and the American tax payer?
At last, someone who understands the visual effects in an atmosphere-free environment. I also echo antj2006's comment as to why the landings would be faked 6 times.
The Apollo missions took place at the height of the Cold War. Russia tracked the missions by radar, and listened-in on radio transmissions - all the way there, and all the way back. Had NASA not achieved what they claimed, the USSR would have crowed long and loud if they knew the landings were faked.
Just out of curiosity, can i ask why you feel they felt the need to fake the landings on no less than 6 occasions (excluding mission 13). Can you answer me that one question?
Im all for freedom of speach, but when lunacy like this video is allowed to pass itself off as proven fact, well we're kind of regressing arent we and may as well start swinging from trees and sleeping in nests again. The basic concept of scale eluded those who painted on the walls of caves 30,000 years ago, you my friend appear to have had the same problem watching your computer monitor looking for a conspiracy that isnt there.
@antj2006 You've done absolutely zip, nada research into Nixon's Apollo Fraud! You mindlessly accept NASA's official claims that they landed a man on the Moon, but hundreds of tiny discrepancies in their "evidence" expose it as a vast Web of Deceit!
You claim the horizon mountains are far away and so won't change in perspective, but where is the intervening Moon surface of 10 km or more leading up to those mountains? How is it that in every NASA photo at each station it is never seen?
@sergemck : the intervening 10, 50, or 100 km (who knows?) could be at a lower elevation than the foreground. There may be a small rise in the foreground that obscures it, but is hard to see because of little contrast of the all gray surface of the MOON.
Have you ever watched a sunset while driving? It's always in the west, no matter how fast you drive. Why? Because it's far away. You noted that the scale indicated the stations being miles apart. The hill is very far away, thus appearing in the background of many pictures facing similar directions.
Perhaps that mound is what is called "Bear Mountain" on the map. If you can see it from perspectives that are miles apart, that means it is quite large and far away.
The backgrounds only "seem" similar. Just compare them CLOSELY with a dedicated software and, it's magic, parallax-induced differences appear on those distant features.
Indeed, you can even see it in the video itself, a faint line of horizon. The mountain with the white mound, can be for all I know 50-?? miles away. No wonder it keeps popping up then...
I think you are all right, but consider that at that time they released remaked picture for magazines in order to appare nice to the pubblic eyes. it's a well known accepted fact. improve yourself. don't get stuck in these shitty comedy!
Get over it. The landings on the Moon were the result of damn good engineering and a lot of courage. There's a lot of solid proof we went there. Only delusional hoaxheads think they are smarter than 40+ years worth of science.
addtional: Especially considering the expose's on how over HALF the so called filtered waters people drink are full of toxins as well. But, I also understand that when someone is knee jerking their answers especially from behind a computer, rational facts rarely matter. Better go check and see if the vapor trails are heavy and the dark vans are parked nearby!
It is impossible for the exact same background to appear in the exact same scale at every single and obviously different spot the astronauts stopped at. Drive toward a mountain on earth, take snaps several miles apart and any mountain in the distance with that kind of detail will change dramatically. Only a mountain feature out past the horizon would appear unchanging, not one so well defined and apparently only a few miles off. You can see the line where NASA cropped the foreground. USA = lies
I guess since his web site that supposedly has the links to the "Official NASA web sites" that contain the images is non-existant, some would say that it's a conspiracy! ;-)
syzygymoi 1 day ago

EthanNin0 1 month ago
@EthanNin0 Addendum: Most Hi Res pics only show the North and South Massifs so if you go into Google Earth, it's going to be south east of the South Massif and north east of 'Mons Vitruvius'. You can just barely see the lower left corner of it being dark and shadowed.
Be advised, the stills in this video and the pictures you can view from Google Earth appear to be taken at different times of the day.
But from that, you can see just how far away it is. More of a mountain then a mound.

Pretty sure NASA posted screenshots, can't be fake.

You're surprised the lunar surface has similar features throughout? That's kinda its defining features. Especially with low resolution images, it's impossible to say those are the "exact" same features.
mbormes 2 months ago
With the absence of atmosphere and moving about on a sloping flat surface with Massive mountains in the background plus a high resolution image equals a perspective that the human eye can't distinguish. Ever been on the prairie by the mountains, and try to judge your distance from them by eye? Now remove air as well. Do some homework instead of just looking at pictures Idiot.

bertoness77 4 months ago

Now ADD the fact that the Russians AND the Chinese would LOVE to disprove and expose those "fake" missions, since they can easily take photos from their probes & modules in space. TheBoHoBoy 4 months ago

Your watching an edited video on YouTube asshole. this is the first post I have read that mentioned what I had noticed, that was the fact that Houston was speaking to the astronauts, a quarter of a million miles away, in real time, as if they were next door. I seriously doubt that with the funny looking electronics they were using, including the headsets, and phones, they could possibly speak in real time, there would HAVE had to have been terrible lag. That to me is a smoking gun that would be hard to discredit
fumingchicken 6 months ago
@fumingchicken Impossible to discredit for anyone who has watched a live report in which the reporter is thousands of miles away. And we squirm in our seats watching the time delay make the reporting difficult, and discussion between desk jockey and roaming reporter pained! Also funny watching people who reckon themselves 'space experts', or physicists, trying to explain how SOUND, travelled at the speed of LIGHT. Hysterical!
un4g1v3n1 5 months ago
@un4g1v3n1
Even more shockingly, SOUND doesn't even travel through space at all!!! Which means they would have had to communicate with earth via something REALLY crazy, like...oh....just off the top of my head....RADIO WAVES. I know, I know, sounds crazy.....sounds almost like magic!
TheZerothDegree 5 months ago
@TheZerothDegree Okay....Now, can you tell me the SPEED at which RADIO WAVES travel at? Really....
This should be interesting.... Then perhaps you'd like to listen to communcations between Earth, and the "moon", and explain the near immediate responses at times...You may want to brush up on that communication delay thing by watching network newscasters speaking with overseas reporters...
Now, if that doesn't awaken the inner critic, NOTHING will!
un4g1v3n1 5 months ago
@un4g1v3n1

@mtszabo: You're absolutely right - Economically, it might not be in the best interest of the United States to pursue a return trip to the moon at this time. However I must clarify: the "we" in my comments refers to mankind, or humanity, not just the "USA" alone.

PoliCy909 6 months ago
@PoliCy909
Because it costs a boatload of money that we (USA) don't have. I mean, we (USA) just dismantled the Space Shuttle program altogether...
Of course, there's nothing stopping the Europeans from going. Personally, I think we ought to have a truly international space program dedicated to pure research with the eventual aim of getting off of our ever-shrinking rock.... but, hey, that would require independent countries to actually cooperate.
mtszabo 6 months ago

Gorgy2003 7 months ago
@Gorgy2003 The mountain is very far away so it appears identical on several photos.
Simple as that.
And the reason it looks so clear is because there is no atmosphere in the way - plus the fact that there are no reference points anywhere.

Mozart1220 8 months ago
I am positive that the moon landing was quite real, and that the footprints are still there. I do question why we are always looking at the same mound/mountain in all of these photos. Why not pan around with those excellent cameras? Even if it is similar boring desolate landscapes, we paid top dollar to see anything and everything they encountered, without the obvious smudgings and other optical games.
noam65 8 months ago
@noam65 The mountains are very far away, and they appear clear because there is no atmoshpere to cover them.
It's like looking at a very distant mountain on Earth, that will also remain the same even when you walk far to the left or right.
Laurelindo 6 months ago
People who don't think the moon landing is fake, Plz tell me why we haven't gone back. Imagine what we should be able to do this many years later. How many space ships have blown up since then or never made it to outer space.
iamShyran 8 months ago
@iamShyran I think several reasons. One might be that there are artifacts of intelligent design, not put there by us, that we are not meant to see. Whoever left them might still be there. We might still be there. There has long been a secret space program, and those that doubt this can see documentary films about a parallel space program run by the CIA and others, that have begun to come out. If they kept that hidden well for 40 years, what else lies well hidden that we haven't seen yet?
noam65 8 months ago
You almost have to be a certified imbecile to believe that moving 2 or 3 miles left, right, forward or backwards means that a mountain range that is 30 miles away will look much different. The fact that this video got over a 100 likes is either a testimony to the intellectual poverty of youtubers or a few multi-channel butt-cheesers having a thumbs-up party.

LonghornPhysicist 8 months ago
@LonghornPhysicist Remove the shit from your eyes and look again. The pictures are totally 'flat', there is no depth to the background and there is a distinct dividing line between the foreground and the 'mountains'. This phenomenon does not occur naturally and is evidence of photos taken in a studio environment. Level and elevated land are NOT separated by a line, they blend gradually to one another. Look around you.
Chev4206 8 months ago
@Chev4206 you experience here on earth, because of earth atmosphere. The presence of atmosphere on earth (and water, in vapor form and liquid form in suspension) helps us to tell approximately the distance of an object, or a mountain. There's no such experience on moon since there's no atmosphere and no water in the air.
The non-presence of the phenomenon made thought first astronaut on moon that they could reach object by foot. The object seem to be "near" them.
DarkFragor 8 months ago

I love a good conspiracy theory if it has some facts that only fit in the theory (evidence). This one on the other hand is easy to figure out if you use Google Earth to go to the moon at the landing site and see how that hill looks from all the stations. There are plenty of other theories to investigate to conclude conspiracy.
anampaiseanta 1 year ago
Oh, I live in Denver. When I travel 3 miles away they do look different and they are way larger than that hill on the moon. The main difference would be in the foreground. A small hill from 3 miles farther away at a different angle is going to look different. Elevation and point of view are different. These pics are all done at almost the exact, same angle and point of view. The bases are all at different angle points "different point of view". The hill would not look the same. Somethings wrong.

@Moonstone255 I'm not a noob and I do pay attention to the details that is why I can see what you can't. I have been studying this crap since 1991. Glad you hate Denver, stay in your dumpy town.
DOHC66 11 months ago
There are a lot of people that were born too late to have the experience with film photography. Way before Photoshop, photo manipulation was well advanced and common. Photo enhancement has been around for over 100 years. Just because PShop wasn't around back then doesn't mean that it couldn't happen.
Also, even if the bases and points of footage are in the same area, they would be at completely different angles not at the same angle 100 ft farther away.

That "mound" is Bear MOUNTAIN about 12 miles away from the LM in front of the "hill" East Massif about 30 miles away. It's a mountain probably over 6,000 ft. tall. @EvilWarlock666, oh yeah. Sorry, I must not have been looking close enough to see all those trees, bushes, houses, snow etc.
LunarTuner 11 months ago
@LunarTuner thats ok, you dont have to apologize to me, just look more carefully next time or buy some glasses.
EvilWarlock666 11 months ago
@LunarTuner On earth if your on the ocean you can only see about 17miles out (on a clear day) due to the curvature of the earth and seeing things in detail are out of the question near that distance, even with todays high resolution cameras. The shots don't seem to have a perspective anywhere near 12 miles with the type of cameras they are using. I'm not saying your information is wrong but the pictures don't really back up your data.
PEEPsAirsoft 9 months ago
@PEEPsAirsoft, you're going to have to be more specific. You say these shots don't back up my data. Why not?
Keep in mind, on the moon EVERY day is a clear day. There is no Rayleigh scattering or haze on the moon. Clarify your point, please.
LunarTuner 9 months ago
@LunarTuner Well I was just saying clear day on earth to mimic more moon like conditions (yes far at best) but I guess my point is...even in the Colorado mountain range even though i'm driving closer to them and they don't change much I can still tell there distance is really far due to the perspective of the horizon and the relative mountain range. I guess you could be 100% correct with you data about the distances between the LM and other sites but it doesn't look like it in the pics is all.
PEEPsAirsoft 9 months ago
@PEEPsAirsoft, your making a subjective observation. You have to remember that this is the moon--an unfamiliar place. There is no Rayleigh scattering there and the horizon is closer than here. I imagine it would look like you could reach out and each mountain. At any rate, I know it would look different than earth.

we need to enter the moon landing with a open mind ...for me there someone playing with our intelligent really....... i know the time will come when the truth or lie will come out, nothing stay in the dark for ever.
THREESIXNINE100 1 year ago
The Moon has no atmosphere, and so therefore it is very difficult to accurately gauge distances with the naked eye while on the surface of the Moon itself or when viewing, as we are here, pictures of markings and features on the surface. The route taken by Cernan and Schmidt was roughly circular with the hill as a constant reference point in their itinerary. It is the same hill in every photograph and there is nothing mysterious or fishy about that, because the astronauts are in the same area.
dickvandonk 1 year ago
@dickvandonk So there's a convenient rise in surface that obscures the 10+ km of Moon surface leading to the mountains in the numerous photos taken miles apart! But there's NOT ONE showing the rock-and-crater strewn surface of the mountain lead-up?
Sorry, it's a back-drop for a film-set and the vague line where it begins can be made out and it crosses the entire picture from left to right in the photos.
Nixon's faked Apollo missions have really sucker-punched people like you!
sergemck 1 year ago
@sergemck the funniest is video of Apollo11 when astronauts fall and displace dirt and the dirt falls immediately to the ground as if in Earths` gravity not the Moons`.Same as the 'dune buggy',its wheels displace dirt which falls to the ground as if in Earth`s gravity.NASA are tooooo silly.

@PAULOcbi
"NASA are tooooo silly"
Not so silly as to be able to acquire $25.4 billion of Federal Budget from the United States Congress for the 13 year program of the Apollo missions (1969 dollars).
How do you think they accounted for that amount of funding by the US government?
"Oh, we went into a studio and faked it all. The rest we spent on having a good time".
Think that would have been acceptable to Congress and the American tax payer?

@dickvandonk
Rich6Brew 1 year ago
Just out of curiosity, can i ask why you feel they felt the need to fake the landings on no less than 6 occasions (excluding mission 13). Can you answer me that one question?
antj2006 1 year ago
Im all for freedom of speach, but when lunacy like this video is allowed to pass itself off as proven fact, well we're kind of regressing arent we and may as well start swinging from trees and sleeping in nests again. The basic concept of scale eluded those who painted on the walls of caves 30,000 years ago, you my friend appear to have had the same problem watching your computer monitor looking for a conspiracy that isnt there.
antj2006 1 year ago
@antj2006 You've done absolutely zip, nada research into Nixon's Apollo Fraud! You mindlessly accept NASA's official claims that they landed a man on the Moon, but hundreds of tiny discrepancies in their "evidence" expose it as a vast Web of Deceit!
You claim the horizon mountains are far away and so won't change in perspective, but where is the intervening Moon surface of 10 km or more leading up to those mountains? How is it that in every NASA photo at each station it is never seen?
sergemck 1 year ago

This is what you call "facts"...
SpaceOperaFR 1 year ago 2
@SpaceOperaFR
Indeed, you can even see it in the video itself, a faint line of horizon. The mountain with the white mound, can be for all I know 50-?? miles away. No wonder it keeps popping up then...

USA = lies
angstotheclown 1 year ago

"not one so well defined and apparently only a few miles off."
- Aha. Your 'apparently' says it all. How do you know it was only a few miles off?
"Drive toward a mountain on earth".
- Exactly. On earth.
