I used to work in a dyno bay, and how some of the people in this video strap these cars down is just plain dumb. Also it never ceases to amaze me at how small a fan people use when running a car on a dyno... you are using higher than normal load and using full throttle... you need lots of cooling air doofus!

Some of the fans I've seen can pin you to the front of the car if you stand on front of them!

@170turbo i understand what you are saying, strapping porly happens, sometimes straps break too, but to say higher load is used on a dyno...not totally correct, a dynojet 225 roller like i use is only about 1500lbs far less weight and load most cars are used to. and as far as fans vs no fans, i see nearly no hp difference on MOST cars with vans vs no fans.

I agree Tek most of these dyno owners need to get some real ratchet straps rather than somthing you would tie a xmas tree to the roof of you car. and here's a nother thought tie it down in 4 points. lastly take time to check all you week points like charge air tubes drive shafts etc!!!

not all but mostlly looks like stock stuff with (bolt ons) that is normal , the cars falling off the dyno , there is no excuse for that other than somebody was a dumbass ,,,,,,,,,

@MKImrit Mitsubishi 3000GT, probably the VR4 (AWD and Twin Turbo... really, the only good one). Was a pretty good car, lots of cool tech in it... but it was awfully heavy, and complicated as hell. The Dodge Stealth is the same car, BTW. The RT is equal to the VR4 trim.
