  • Really getting a craving for a Big Mac.

  • @AETutorials42 IT'S YOUR HEART ATTACK, YOUR CANCER, YOUR DIABETES. HOPE YOU FEEL THEIR PAIN THEN YOU SUFFER TOO MAC! IDIOTS CRY THE LOUDEST!

  • @GOLDENFLYWARRIOR

YEAH I LIKE TO TRY AND SOUND SMART BY TALKING IN ALL CAPS TOO. No, seriously, fuck off. First of all, big mac's don't cause cancer, because they aren't carcinogenic. Other than that, yeah, you'll get a heart attack and probably diabetes if you eat Big Macs daily for your entire life. Once in a while isn't going to kill you. Don't you have some paint to throw on people, Peta-freak?

  • this is not the truth!!! at my slaughterhouse (beef) it is animals first and people second!!! these people should be strung up by a chain and beat!!

  • @beansworlds Unfortunately it is the truth in many factory farms across the country. I'm glad to read it's not this way at yours. That would be an exception, however. And the more people react to this kind of footage, the more force these companies feel to change their ways. It's better for everyone that this doesn't happen.

  • @kcdiche oh don't worry. You'll be accused of being illiterate... for two reasons. The first being you find animal suffering comical, as if "you" deserve dominion over anything. And secondly, because you spelled illiterate wrong. L"MY"FAO.

  • PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals..... "...and God gave MAN dominion over what He had created......"

had to correct or some moron would accuse me of being illeterate LMFAO!

  • PETA - People Eating Tasy Animals..... "...and God gave MAN dominion over what he had created......"

  • Namaste Madison!!! Thank you so much for using your amazing voice and talent in giving voice to the voiceless!!! May love and peace be with you always!!!!

  • wow couldnt you people find any thing good about these farms this is stupid all you people are tring to do is get money and support for animal rights and does any know that is where the money goes and why would anybody hurt there animal that they make money off of that would just be dumb and if the people cared about these animals the person recording the video should have stoped it and if they didnt then they dont care at all!!!! i love animals i rasie them these videos are bad for the farmer

  • @acwfacwc19461947 The thing is, these aren't normal farms in the sense of the word. These are factories. They raise those animals in the most cheap, efficient way possible, and produce product. This in no way is targeted against small, honest operations that care for their animals.

  • Wow, Tonetare got really worked up here spewing hate against others who comment. People like that just don't count. Their contribution to society is purely negative. It's pathetic that animal cruelty has to be a part of someone's breakfast. And bacon is nasty anyway. All I say is know where your meat comes from! Buy locally if you buy meat at all. Why make these greedy companies any more wealthy than they already are??

  • oooh makes me hungry! Yummy!

  • Comment removed

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd Yea, your ass wouldn't be lamenting and reproaching me if a big bucket of juicy sizzling bacon were to drop in front of you and a handful of rich, moist pork chops with all the seasonings. You'd be sitting there going "To hell with the animals. There in a better place nor and all that jazz. LEZZZZZ EAT" and I wouldn't blame you! COME ON GIRL! You know you want me to tickle your tongue with the edge of a piece of juicy bacon. COME OWWWWWWWWN

  • @Tonetare stop trolling dumbass, fyi when I was a carnivore I rarely ate pork anyways so their goes your argument. Animal based diets are highly addictive and it makes taking a shit far more difficult when on the vegetarian or vegan diet you can comfortably come and go in that respect, besides pigs intelligence surpasses our dogs. Humans are naturally omnivorous that's evident however we have the innate ability to choose conscious living over barbaric practices in which provide absolutely no so

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd lace in this life. Most animals we eat are herbivores and have a multitude of natural predators besides us thereby we really have no NEED to intervene on the process already imprinted in mother natures system. We do this for short-term benefits plain and simple, it's easier to only use 8 percent of your brain when everything is already made available isn't it? Truthfully if most people were forced to watch this happen they wouldn't be able to shove a pork-chop down their thr

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd oat their would be psychologically implications as a result, sure some people are cold like you but you weren't always that way and should seek therapy before you hurt someone. Body language is universal and you can see and feel the pain in their eyes. Without consumers there's no market, we should all share this video with anyone we know to help promote more in-depth awareness on the subject.

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd psychological"

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd Just scratch out the part about me tickling your tongue with bacon. You bringing up taking a shit has totally turned me off now. But Honestly, if you lived the life of a pig, would you really opt to live or die anyway. If I myself were a pig, I'd run out into the middle of the street like most animals do deliberately anyway. If I were a pig, I would rather someone harmlessly end my life more than anything. What you do with me afterwards, I really couldn't give a damn

  • @Tonetare Lol, ok we don't have to paint a completely negative picture but you do have a point. In general farm animals live in complete misery due to the lack of good conditions, it wasn't always that way I am not against hunting or the production of meat all-together. I just think animals deserve better they have made a tremendous amount of contributions to improve the overall quality of our lives. What have we done in return? We've reduced them to commodities. It's an animal holocaust and we'

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd re the ones orchestrating everything it perplexes me really. Either way we're at the top of the food chain with that same token we hold a great deal of responsibility as the care-takers of the planet. Right now we're exploiting our home-planet more than we're conserving it, fortunately it looks like Mars will be a habitable planet in a not so far future. Ultimately though we will continue to spiral down the path of destruction on any planet if we keep going against the desi

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd gn of nature. We can stop this all just by living more consciously, love and light

  • @Ichliebemusikundybd lol sorry on the negative picture. But was that your way of saying 'Damn! Hell to the naw at a life as a pig!" lol! J/k! But I've only been poking fun. I'm seriously not the psycopath I've been coming across as. :P I understand perfectly what you've been stating in all your posts. To be honest with you, I haven't even watched this video yet. But is it really that gruesome? Something tells me if I watch it and actually see what they do, I'll be just as horrified as u

  • I shared this video with friends who have given up meat - thank you for this video.

  • @WinterHaven i had friends like that tried giving up.. but a few weeks later back on it. heres hoping they stick to abstaining..

  • so sad ....

  • @mischamies O.o So your saying you know for a fact that no where on the planet earth there is humane farming? Huh thats kinda funny you should watch "Food Inc." There's a farm in there that naturally raises animals and still does today.......

  • You could get 1000 pretty women singing "plea for humanity" songs and this will never stop as long as there is greed in this world. And if there is one thing that humans will always have an abundance of it's GREED.

  • My God My God please do something to stop these barbaric practices. Why can't they lead normal lives the way God intended. Did you notice the lost look in the pigs' eyes? These pigs can never carry out any natural born instincts, like rooting, walking on the earth, keeping clean, and socializing normally. There will be a Judgement Day, and for the culprits, may God have mercy on your soul.

  • i'm glad i'm a veg

  • @CrazyNative4 do you eat marshmallows or/and gelatin

  • 14 nazis disliked this video.

  • @nashietay they do have whole foods markets where the animals are raised naturally. i live 20 minutes from one. the name of the store is literally "whole foods markets." i was surprised that the meat wasnt really that much more expensive at all. maybe like a dollar or two more? i dont see what the big cost expense these corporations are talking about.

  • @7891midnight its the initial. its feasible for a small time farm to do it, they have land available. to convert from factory to open graze would be more than they make in a year, and to what avail? they only stand to make money either way. morals dont often affect bottom line.

  • @7891midnight Naturally raised? There is no such thing in farming. In ALL farming baby cows are taken from their mother within the first couple of days, all cows are forced to produce 10 times as much milk as they would in the free, ALL baby cows are killed, go into the veal-production (=horrible life and death) or follow their mothers' s footsteps as slaves, ALL male chicken in the egg production are killed less than a day old - and I could go on and on and on. Dont talk about humane farming!!!

  • @mischamies it's called free-range, certified organic farms, they exist pretty well everywhere, only makes up about 2 percent of farms though. But they most certainly exist

  • @Roozazzle There are no effective, enforced legal standards to the terms 'free-range' and 'organic'. Free-range can mean as little as a pen with hundreds or thousands of animals having limited access to a 2x2 foot square of dirt.

  • SHARED!!!

  • I am so angry when I see this shit, I start cursing. This fucking wicked ass goverment destroyed farmers lives over 2million to have fucking hell hole factory farms. Many farmers went bankrupt, and loss their farms which had been in their families for generations. This fucking goverment USDA doesn't give a fuck about us or animals. They give them hormones which make us fat.

  • This is horrible and it needs to be stopped immediately!

  • this is so sad madison is right. we say we care about life, but then this happens.

  • umm animals what's for dinner

  • I live in Texas, we eat locally from farms, this kind of shit is horrible though and its sickening, this food is what goes to the fast food chains, the places that treat chickens, pigs and cows like they are a never ending source of food on demand, sad, sick shit.

  • only animals do this to animals

  • This video is heartbreaking. I was a veggie for two years, but my iron got too low and my body wouldn't absorb it via pills. (not sure why.) I believe that God put them here for us to eat, but not this way. We are suppose to hunt them or something similar. Not make it shooting fish in a barrel. It's just wrong.

  • @nashietay VeganHealth (dot) org is from a Dietician, it breaks it all down and can help you, notes natural sources of iron. I disagree about a decent god putting a mammal like us here just to die, I think all life was created to have a chance at a decent life. Its also bad for our health, enviornment and wastes grain/corn that increases world hunger (10lbs of grains for 1lb of flesh) so that would not make sense if they were here for flesh. Regardless, Its all unncessary today.

  • @StopTerrorofAnimals I'll have to check that out, thanks =)

  • The bigotry of humans towards other animals is truly astounding. If you claim to love or care about animals...stop consuming them. Simple.

  • Anyone who eats meat is responsible for all this torture .

  • Florida was the first state in the nation to ever ban gestation crates, and yes it took an act which was put on the voting ballets. It's a small victory, compared to their great suffering-but it's better than nothing.

  • But yet they treat dogs better than human beings.

  • Cruelty is wrong and I am a Republican from Madison, WI. I do however like to eat them.

  • What gives Humans the right to treat animals in this way, they give up their life for you they deserve some respect... I for one DO NOT eat meat for this reason and my body does not need it. There is plenty of other food around.. God did not create animals for us to torture them..

  • I eat meat and that prolly wont change. But I really dont think animals should be treated this way! Its really sad. I think that animals were put here for us to eat. (Yes I am religious) But I do not think that animals were put here for this. This is torture. It's cruel and It should stop.

  • For all the people who seem to be so pro "torture", taste meat that hasn't been raised in hell like conditions, taste the difference for yourself! Then realize how disgusting the meat you eat really is! Eating this meat makes you sick and fat and quite frankly with the attitude some of you have you deserve it...

  • Hey - watch a comprehensive heartbreaking video, "PITY THE PIG", which tells the true story of pigs and their fate. See it at

    youtube.com/user/truenaturenetwork

  • every living thing is food to one another, the ways we do this, to "save a little" money is completely bullshit i agree. many more humane ways to do this.

  • FACTORY FARMING SUCKS! :(

  • Wha a nice voice. I just love it.

  • So very sad we let this happen to these poor innocent animals~~~~ Thank you lovetoallanimals for sharing~~~~~

  • very well said!

  • Going vegan was the easiest thing I ever did. Just do it.

  • alice: Me too! And it was the best thing I ever did for my health. And I certainly don't miss eating disgusting, feces- and drug-ridden dead animal corpses!

  • In a world where you despair with no idea of what you can do that will make a difference, the most profound change can be made by simply making the choice not to eat animals. The change in your own life as a consequence is a a gift that is beyond your common conception. It is worth it. Best decision I every made. If you are not motivated to do for them, do it for yourself.

  • It's scenes like this that make me so proud to be raising my babies as a vegetarians. Me included. Trying to go vegan ATM. I can't make my husband do it but I am always watching things like this so it'll happen one day. Is that animals life really worth the two minutes it'll be on your plate for? No. You can never put a price on life. While these video's are horific, I am so glad that people are watching them, it takes nothing to become more educated and you learn so much from watching it.

  • it seems that those pigs are smarter than their owners.

  • this is such a fucking awesome song! i don't know why it doesn't have 4,000,000 views!! do people just not give a shit about animals or something?

  • @waltontgd, more like no factory farms, no farm animal cruelty. Factory Farms bad, bad business and small, home farmers should be against it, too!

  • @waltontgd

What the hell are you talking about?

If we redirected the resources wasted on producing meat, not only would we put an end to this unbelievably insane torture, but we could also feed the entire fucking world.

    Do some research my friend.

You clearly have Internet access ... put it to good use.

  • john- well said; I couldn't have said it better!

  • im not a fan of foolish violence but to be honest all sides are guilty animals arent innocent humans arent none are to be honest if not in this way then would how would you feed the country?dont forget the disabled or the old that cant hunt and please do not think that all can just farm for life

  • You obviously don't realize that it takes WAY more resources to put a slab of meat on your plate every meal--water, the food for the animal (plants), space, waste disposal (blood and feces). If folks wanted to find an easy way to preserve the planet AND stop this cruelty, they'd opt for a vegan lifestyle.

  • @rowdyphantom vegan lifestyle is good for some people but its just not for everyone i mean im not a nutrition expert and i do like you stand by your choices its just that everyone is different to opt for a vegan life is also from what i know more costing on those who are already poor myself included im not saying it isnt cruel in its own but what can you expect?

  • @SSSsyto Exactly. The government subsidizes meat production so you never have to face the true cost of your burger. If it were truly a free market, vegetables would be a much more economic choice.

  • @rowdyphantom even if that were true it doesnt change anything your voice my voice the voice of everyone here and the millions that arent will and would not reach anyone of any real worth the true cost of my "burger"is the need to survive and the lack of to do it your lifestyle cannot save the world of the poor as it is right now

  • @SSSsyto

whith all that vegetable matter, that cows and pigs are fed, one could feed far more people than from the meat.

  • i admit... i love this song enough that im more interested in the issue now

  • Innocent, Beautiful Animals just live a miserable existence---from day of birth until day of slaughter.

  • damn right! :)

  • @CrazyNative4 FINALLY===Someone NOT bashing me for caring about Animals! Thank You!

  • you're welcome!

we all know there is nothing wrong with giving a damn about creatures! some people don't give a shit, we do, be cool :)

  • damn right :) i have my parrot on my shoulder as i say this!

  • I'm not saying that all humans are bad. There are a lot of good hearted people out there who care enough about our animal friends to fight for them and be their voice when others refuse to listen. Thank You for being the voice of the voiceless and speaking out against this type of abusive unforgivable violence. People don't need to eat meat or have any type of animal products in order to survive / live a healthy life. If you buy them you're supporting the torture and death of innocent animals.

  • Animals are just like humans. They have feelings, they bleed, they have families. They know how to love. They breathe the same air we do, drink the same water we do. They weren't put on the planet to be abused, tortured, murdered, eaten. Think about it. When you abuse an animal it's the same as abusing a human being, in a sense they're victims of unforgivable violence. Animlas deserve the same rights as us. Put yourself in their place and try looking at the world through their eyes for once.

  • sassie: well said; you are very close to seeing the big picture, except for one thing you said: "Animals are just like humans". Correction: humans ARE animals too. We are not in some separate Kingdom of life. If you remember your basic biology, we are primates, Homo sapiens, and share 98% of our DNA with chimps. We're not LIKE animals, we ARE them!

Once you truly see that we are just another species of animal on this tiny planet, you'll really understand our place in the world.

    Thanks!

  • Humans are the most violent, heartless, selfish, lowest form of life when it comes to the way certain people treat All Of Our Animal Friends. Animals are the most loyal, forgiving, nonjudgemental, caring, loving, understanding creatures around. Unlike humans - animals don't judge us based on our looks, sexuality, income, race, background, etc. Maybe if those selfish, noncaring, sadistic, cruel humans followed in the footsteps of our animal friends, there wouldn't be so much hatred in the world..

  • damn right :)

  • I wish everyone would realize that what's in their hamburgers was once a living, breathing, beautiful creature that was starved and beaten and slaughtered. I don't understand how someone can kill something that can't even defend itself.

  • This treatment of animals has got to change. It's an absolute must. It's not legal to treat dogs this way. Thank God. So why is it acceptable to treat cows and pigs this way?

  • Thank goodness for people like Madison, animals are us and they deserve to be treated with respect.

  • Did you know pig and poultry meats often carry MRSA and VRE due to antibiotic abuse (daily administration) to keep them alive in pure filth. Just handling the raw meat you can easy get infected through any microcrack in skin or rub your nose. Swine and bird Flu ALSO was directly caused by farm factory cruelty. Call it Lord Karma: The eaters of flesh shall become the eaten.

  • shut the fuck up , fucking humans that do that , i would love to see a fucking human in that conditions crying for hes life.

    motherfucker's must stop this.

  • im actually crying :(

  • This is SO because of the ignorance of it.... MUCH LESS PEOPLE would it meat (unless it was from eological farming) if they knew enough og its way to their kitchen......

SPREAD THIS ONE ANYONE! Mark it FAVOURITE,

    - put it on MySpace, Facebook, mail it to friends!!

Spread it - to create consciousness about it!

  • ishmahin, why are you willing to spread the consciousness of this particular issue, yet fail to grasp the corruption going on within our own religion's organization? Abortions are being forced on women in the Sea Org. Families are being broken up by Disconnection. Members are being drained out of their life savings, at the promise of "eternity". Critics' free speech is being suppressed, and critics themselves harassed.

    PLEASE read xenu(.)net, ishmahin.

  • Can someone please tell me why people have to point out other issues that exist, hoping to minimize the Factory Farming issue?? It's no basis for an arguement. THIS is an issue. Everything you listed are terrible issues, too, OpenComments! But that does not make this any less horrific than it is! Comments like yours are so very annoying.

  • rla0323, it wasn't my intention to minimize the Factory Farming issue. Sorry you interpreted it that way. My intention was inquiring about ishmahin's hypocrisy, as I tell him about how abusive the Church of Scientology is. My apologies that I didn't clarify.

  • Thank you for clarifying, OpenComments. And I'm happy to know that you agree Factory Farming is a serious problem. It's horrible for the animals, our environment, and our personal health. People don't always get that readily and tend to attack those who do, suggesting other things are more important. The reality is, we have a lot of things to tackle in this world.

  • Yup. You have your fight, I have mine. That there are worse problems in the world isn't an excuse to ignore "smaller" problems, ever. You can always find a "bigger" problem, and solving smaller problems still makes world a better place, and it doesn't "add" to bigger problems.

The problem with people who say "Why not protest X instead of Y" is that it can be said for ANY problem in the world. We all pick our battles, people have to understand. I won't rest until Scientology's abuses r exposed.

  • I don't know enough about Scientology to comment but I can assure you Factory Farming is no "small issue". We are all affected by this kind of greed. And if someone can watch the cruelty behind this video and not care? They are unreachable on any level.

  • Understood.. hence why "smaller' is put in quotes ... as it is smaller by only the perception of the individual who suggested it. I too do not know enough about factory farming to comment, but I hope that the argument I gave in my previous comment applies to us both - that there are worse problems in the world isn't an excuse to ignore "smaller" problems ("smaller" being the subjective term).

  • I HATE humans i wish i was dead and humans would not exist. how can people do this to animals i get so fucking angry when i see this! even animals in the wild ai'nt that cruel to eachother. i only buy bio-meat that's meat wich is from an animal wich has been treated well. evryone should do that! every animal deserves a good life!

  • in bio the animals doesn't have a good life either

  • So sad, thing is anyone who eats meat are contributing to the suffering of an animal. Therefore anyone that eats meat is NOT an animal lover under any circumstances. This type of barbaric treatment is uncalled for and should be banned.

The virus's and disease that people are getting from meat is simple punishment. It is a deserved evil.

  • Miss the point much???

  • Humans claim to be the supreme race on Earth with the most developed brains and sophisticated social order, but mankind is as cruel and vicious and unsympathetic towards other organisms as a virus. the scenes of this reflect that when the human race has been wiped out, the earth will not miss us very much-when we corrupt life we corrupt ourselves that is why we have not discovered why or how life started, becasue we spend more time mutalating and contaminating it.

  • wow..I couldn't have said it better myself..It's comforting to know others feel the same way about humanity.

  • I guess some people like eating shit all day.

  • I guess you love to eat shit too - you afterall a sorry piece of human shit.

  • wow just because i eat meat im a sorry piece of human shit? wow that says alot about u the only part of shit in my body is that dam good pork chop i had last nite, and if u cant comprehend the reason for factory farming then u truly are an idiot

  • The best thing anyone of us can do is try to educate others on the issues but please do it in a kind tolerant manner. Many people have no idea about where their food comes from. Vegetarians and Vegans need to step up and be patient and be kind. Otherwise people shut down. There are many people out there who are waiting to be awaken.

  • As long as people educate terrorists and child molestors in an open and tolerant manner. I respect a child-molesting vegan 1000x more than a celibate non-vegan, because it is my First Amendment right to. I don't care how politically incorrect some anti-vegans think it is.

Too bad - I support outlawing meat and putting people in prison for it. Too bad you have to be tolerant of my political beliefs.

  • Farm factories is the cause of ALL bird and swine flus that we suffer. Seriously. It is easy to see why how they are forced to live -daily filth, agony, stress, pain and suffering. And crammed together. Kept alive with daily doses of antibiotics, resistant bugs occur and immune compromised animals from stress makes it VERY EASY to catch viral diseases like bird and swine flus.

  • I find that hard to believe, given the number of non-factory farm avians out there, but I am sure it is a contributing factor.

The best action - let all those who eat poultry die. Don't give them any medical treatment whatsoever.

I just finished a small degree (Associate) in Biotechnology. I am outspoken for animal rights. But, my PhD in Mathematics taught me infinitely more about the world - scientifically and socially.

  • nowt lk this will make me veggie its not norma!!!!! l that cow was havin a calf nd sheep dye 4 no reason u no nd its only if pigs get 2 fat that they break there legs so dont feed them that much nd they wont !!!

  • I heard this song from my brother's laptop and i loved the melody from the start. I learned the lyrics first before searching for the video. NOW that i have seen it, i want to cry, i really want to something to help. I AM A VEGETARIAN but i don't think thats enough!

  • Activism can help many many more animals, millions even,

    myspace (dot) com / vegetarianveganparadise

(great tips on right side of page)

    best local promo for animals

    veganhealth (dot) org/colleges

  • THIS IS why I'm a vegetarian. I can't stand this stuff. The poor helpless creatures. I'm so glad I looked up Madison Park videos...

  • this is why i'm PROUD to be a VEGETARIAN!

  • I've been VEGAN for years and years and my check ups and labs are all perfect. Funny thing about it when I invite my meat eating friends for dinner they can't tell what I make is completely animal free. They swear there is meat and cheese in it! -nope!

  • how sad

  • No wonder the products that result are so low in quality. You reap what you sow. There are alternatives. After eating grass fed beef raised the right way by real farmers I wouldn't go back to it even if it wasn't inhumane.

  • stop a la souffrance inutile des animaux, stop a la cruauté!

  • some poor examples of farming that is not how it is done on most farms, farms like this wont survive, take care of your animals and they will take care of you

  • Even 1 case, when many here are shown, is 1 too many. What you say about "take care of your animals and they will take care of you" is true. We must ensure that every single animal, whether on the farm, in a laboratory, or in someone's home, lives humanely and dies humanely. We do better than this for prisoners in prison or on death row, why would we NOT do it for those who cannot speak for themselves?

  • I must cry by this Video. 5 Stars

  • POST these videos on Myspace and other outlets regularly!

    Myspace (dot) com vegetarianveganparadise

  • This video, and others like it, bring tears to my eyes. I think factory farming is inhumane beyond words. We are suppose to be intelligent, humane stewards of the earth. Animals have feelings and emotions. Last Thanksgiving I said for the first time "Spare the turkey, eat Tofurky."

  • quit complaining about killing livestock for food

hundreds of thousands of mice deer etc r killed to protect the fields of the crops vegans eat

tons of animals have lost their homes because of the fields the crops r grown in

its almost impossible to live a life that doesnt have a negetive effect on animals

pigs cows chickens etc may get screwed as individuals but the species benefits because of its guaranteed survival

  • Blackeye, please watch the video before you comment. Its specifically about raising animals in factory farms, not killing livestock for food like you suggest. If you had to suffer as shown here would you choose life? Highly doubtful.

  • yeah i watched it

bad music video showing worst case abuse and neglect

thats no more common among farmers than people who abuse their pets r among everyone else

  • Your comment doesnt make much sense to me. This isnt any less of an issue just b/c theres other issues in the world. The video says over 95% of animals raised for food are raised this way - its actually closer to 98%. That means billions of animals every year. This is factory farming. Not the small percentage of animals raised by actual farmers. You cant blur the two. Defending this treatment, are you? Nice one.

  • ...yeah...if thats what u think im not gonna start a fight with u obviously im not defending THIS as i said this was a bunch of worst case scenario scenes

  • dude, its not the killing of animals we care about, its the torture they phase when they are alive :(

  • the poor animals in these slaughterhouses are animals that most people don't understand. they have faces, feelings, hearts, and intelligence.. no different than any pet you own. so why eat them? be a vegan or vegetarian!

  • Anyone who watches this must forward it to everyone they know. It is the only way people will open their eyes to the realities of the consequences of their actions in buying factory farmed meat.

Please also join my Facebook group and show your support in banning these disgusting practices : "Ban factory farming & support the group Compassion in World Farming"

  • This video always tug at my heart.

  • I always try to avoid these videos since they ruin my whole week... but I saw this on someone's myspace and was dragged in. It made me ball my eyes out, and I'm still crying. This is repulsive. I've been vegetarian for a year and thankfully went vegan this year, and I will NEVER contribute to this ever again until these factories change their ways.

  • Krazyken, and do you think its right to cram waaaaay too many chickens into one cage where they are so overly crowded they cant span their wings? Come on. How would you like it if you could never stretch your arms or legs? Nothing about factory farming is up for defending. Its all about financial gain. No consideration of the animals themselves. Who doesnt know that?

  • It isn't about how they get kill it is how they're being mistreated. It's just inhumane. They get scarce food, tainted water, and crowded shelter.

  • If you want to stay consistent in your values of not being cruel to animals - one must go Vegan... there is no other *nice* alternative. If you love animals - Do not eat them (period).

  • Have YOU not heard how much grain and water it takes to raise livestock on these massive scales of production where there is an enormous amount of waste and OVER production of animals and yet people are indeed starving in this world while we waste these resources?? I can argue this to death with you and I will win. Which is precisely why California passed Prop 2 on Tuesday. People are realizing that unfortunately this IS the standard FOR NOW... but not forever!

  • newholland, 1st off why would you even be Proud to be a 'farmer'?? 2nd, what is wrong with you? 1 animal that dies is 1 to many!! i live on a farm, that takes in unwanted animals, no animal is ever killed, they live their life peacefully and happy here. i am a proud vegetarian. you need to get some facts and stop living in the stone age!!!

  • Food would run out? Get real! Why dont you spend 5 minutes on Humane Society or Farm Sanctuarys websites? Theres plenty of this footage & people are sick of animals being treated this way. You need to open your eyes and quit protecting corporate greed. Youre crazy to want to help fatten their wallets and give this a pass. And home farmers who are losing their jobs to these factories find you offensive. They dont treat their animals like this. This, is Factory Farming and its horrible.

  • Yup, yes on 2 for me too...

  • I just can't believe these videos. I mean the cruelty that is endemic to these factory farm situations. I'm glad HSUS and Mercy for Animals is exposing these crimes. It makes me sick to think that Steve Mendell, the owner of Westland/Hallmark Slaughterhouse in Chino, lives in a multi-million dollar oceanfront house in Corona del Mar while his workers abuse helpless animals. I'm glad they were convicted of cruelty. Plus they put tainted food into the system. Just sickening! I'm voting Yes on 2!

  • c vraiment trop dégueu ske les gens font!

    cool vidéo

  • Oh yeah, Maug91? Didnt I just say Ive seen this for myself? The farm in Iowa would leave a permanent imprint on your brain like you wouldnt believe. These arent farms. These are factories where animals are severely restricted and abused. You have absolutely no understanding of your own naïve comments. You dont think that this happens? You are living in a bubble.

  • Maug91, I usually find that people who were actually raised on farms HATE these factory farms b/c that is not at all how they conducted business for themselves. The fact that you can watch this video and pretend it doesn't happen is astonishing. Why don't you google and watch the Iowa /Hormel Pig Abuse

video that was ALL over CNN last month and then say this doesn't happen.

  • I think your talking about normal farms tha's old style, however, in this video, it's talking about factory farming, which is basicly, "fit as many animals as you can in little spaces." I doubt you were born, and raised on a factory farm, did you ever see a chicken without a beak in your farm? if you didn't, your probably not talking about factory farms, cuz they cut off the beaks of chicken so they don't fight eachother over territory.

  • When a chicken has a "beak treatment" It is just the tip of the beak that is removed, it is a painless procedure. Get your facts right.

  • I did get them strait, it's not painless proseadure, i just learned it geo, here even watch this video at 1.15 seconds, it even says "the pain goes on for weeks"

    watch?v=PFgbHK6yP2g

  • That was an old way of cutting the tips of the beak off. Now they are treated with a ultraviolet light at 1 day old and the tip of the beak painlessly falls off after a few days. Belive me I have seen this done many times.

  • Okay, let's just say that it is painless. Do you still think it's right to cut off the beak of a chicken?

  • Do you think its right to let them eat each other?

  • That's why you shouldn't cram them together in a small space. Would you be happy to live your whole life with no room?
