my sister bought this album many years ago and the two of us got a butt load of cd players together into one room and tried to synch them all up.... dang near impossible. man she got so friggin pissed at me when i didn't hit "play" when she wanted me to hahaha. this album does not only give you great music, but it's fun to play with. just like majorb says :) thanks for the video. you're going to grow up to be reeeeeeeeeeal cool :)

I thought the idea for this album was pretty stupid at first...but seeing this kids talking about it and trying his best to set it up I realize that the flaming lips made an album that doubles as a toy which is really cool. Look how much fun he's having!

that being said i would like to transfer to mp3 and set up the whole album in perfect synchronization just to get the true stereo effect

For on d go purpose what you can do is rip all d four cds on your computer.. use audacity to mix d tracks from each of d four cds(e.g. load track#X from each cd in one project) and export d project as mp3(track#X.mp3).. load it on your mp3 player. still... d best way to listen to this album is usin four separate cd players. n yes, this is d best flaming lips album even if wayne coyne tells u that it was only meant for other musicians n music industry people.

I would have loved to get disc 4 working. I've managed to figure out how to pull it off some time after making this video, but currently the speakers I use for that disc aren't very powerful... You probably wouldn't be able to her that disc if I recorded it. Anyway, Zaireeka seems to be designed in such a way that Discs 4 and 2 can be left out if required and you can still get the general effect. Sometime I may make another video like this will all 4 discs... I'd like to record Riding to Work.

Did you know they are releasing the 5.1 dvd mix of Zaireeka?

Doubt you'll be able to mess around with it as much, but it cuts the arsing around with 4 players out.
