I have slightly modified this figure so the guns on top of the vehicle mode come off and peg onto the minicon port on the arms of the robot. Then, I have him hold the knife with the blade pointing down, like he's getting ready to stab someone.

I've seen all the G1 episodes and he wasn't. Roadbuster was a G1 character. There were no other characters named Roadbuster. He wasn't in the cartoon because of the same reason Jetfire was heavily modified and the helicopter Whirl never appeared in the cartoon.

hmm... the green color repaint looks nice on this car...i for one who usually dislikes repaints for once actually think this car in green/orange color kinda looks nice....its more Army-esque.

the original Hotshot colors looked weird (although it was supposingly an armored car...)

i was initially very excited to get this figure but ended up being disappointed a bit due to his limited articulation and his green colored face (he looks like he has stomach problems) i might have to put some silver on his face

you're right about the "value" assessment of both 2-packs, when i got them, i thought i'd like the dirge-roadbuster more, but ended up liking the ratbat pack more.
