the fact that the kit would be able to withstand a beating would not makes it needed to hit it harder to be a good drummer.

i found his performance really good, maybe not 100% the same, but none the less, good :-D

I gotta say, this Metallica cover is MUCH better than the one I just watched, which was on a different E-drum set. The snare and kick drum aint too shabby, however I hate the cymbal. It's not convincing. It's got no variation to it.

Tabs are usefull to learn though. As in learn to read the music. They are good if you are looking to go into music for a career. They open lots of oppurtunities to become better aswell as they let you try out different genre's of drumming and also lets you fill in for people in bands. And playing in a band is a good way to get better. But your drumming here is good. I would recommend getting a real kit rather than electric. Only my personal choice but there we go. Keep it up.

Your cover is nice and good in matters of rythm and performance, but don't play songs by getting tabs, because it's hard to get drums tabs, so get used to play songs by ear the original ones.

Yeah, some digital drums have got touch sensor underneath the cymbals so it stops when you touch them.
