@mrHowlll: Let the emulation evolve and try again. In the meantime, use original copies and working units of Wii or GameCube. I did the same here. ;)

u can quite easily get a few hundred KOs.. i myself kinda suck at it unfortunately

I tried down-B and it does indeed work, I always thought up-B would be more practical as it covers you from all angles, thinking that down-B would leave you open to attacks from behind. BUT NO!!
