It is ironic that more people in Japan are interested in dolphin/whale meat than before as the result of their campaign. And the red sea water does not surprise us because it is the same as when you cook beef in your kitchen. ;)
dolphins have bigger brian than YOU (or any human)
they will save human lives in trouble at sea. They saved MY life at sea too--so I try to return the favour. it is that simple. Let us have peace and kindness and compassion.
@delfinusdelphis No matter you eat beef of not or if you believe John Lilly's LSD illusion, I'm telling you the fact that as long as Taiji has dolphin hunt, it makes SSCS having more income and you activists are promoting Taiji's name that brings more tourists to the area helping their economy. Thank you for your contribution :)
@ashika295 of course you misunderstand, but that is expected. Best way will see Taiji residents AND dolphins to flourish and have a better future, with more kindness and compassion and abundance for all. Peace. And no longer giving people poison meat! I have nothing to to with Sea Shepherd.
@delfinusdelphis Thank you for caring our people's health. Fortunately, there has never been reported any health problems by mercury among any of residents of Taiji and around the area and old whalers are still healthy. And of course you know which country has the longest life expectancy in the world right? ;-) I didn't say you're a part of SSCS but you (and this dancer) are supporting them by promoting Taiji's name anyway.
@ashika295 actually Taiji residents have higher death rate and higher mercury levels than citizens in surrounding villages. All dolphin meat from Taiji exceeds legal levels of acceptable mercury levels by Japanese standards. This is simple fact. this is most unfortunate.
@delfinusdelphis It is a trick made by Japan Times that has been refuted already. Taiji has larger percentages of older generations that is one of typical local towns in Japan and of course death rate of old people is higher while Taiji's life expectancy is just average in Wakayama Pref (even higher than Nachi Katsuura and Shingu). Any deaths caused by mercury poisoning has never been reported in Taiji ever since. This is the simple fact.
@delfinusdelphis You'd better realize that people in Japan will never trust anybody actually insincere who is toying with the food safety issue in order to protect specific animals.
This is profoundly moving...hauntingly beautiful and heartrendingly expressive. What an exquisite performance in honor of so many precious Lives so savagely taken. Thank you for sharing this. Much love & be well! <3
and of course remorse for lives we took but application for givings from oceans!
I wonder how many of anti-hunting people know people in taiji held a ceremony for dolphins and whales every year, and they have a memorial for whales, shrines and temples? I also wonder anti-hunting people have same sort of ritual to their foods in their country, while they are claiming fishermen are "narrow minded" or "barbaric" or "heartless"?
Thank you Russ Ligtas for your heart wrenching performance art piece for the Dolphins slaughtered at the hands of Taiji 'fishermen'. Perhaps one day they will find wisdom and their hearts will open and they will learn to live with and appreciate the wonder of these sentient beings of the oceans. It is so sad that these few fishermen are so narrow minded and cruel in the name of 'tradition'. Not a tradition to be proud of. One almost feels sorry for them in their ignorance. Almost. Tragic.
I use a translation machine.
I was not interested in whaling and a dolphin fishery before.
However, whites' lie and ethnic discrimination were witnessed by web or TV, and Japan was absolutely sure that whaling should be continued.
