I can't remember what happens to bernard in this ep. Is he trapped lying on his side on something or has life gone so wrong for him w/o manny that the laws of physics have changed?
Vice deputy sub-assistant, in a book store owned by Simon Pegg, is a position I yearn to earn myself up to. That is why I am going to study high-tech engineering for 5 years.
It takes 10 year for all the decent TV to come to the US from Britain. American TV is as stupid as most Americans. At least we eventual get it- thank God
@brentenireland hot fuzz was fucking insane and he is epic in this as well you are obviously the sort of person who is going to die slowly and painfully :)
Okay, Dylan. You can afford to do six more episodes. 18 shows split up over "three seasons" is simply not enough. CHEERS did 24 shows in one season. The least you can do is match that ...
mikenorman66, British comedy is waaaay more hilarious than American comedy, and i'm American. Not saying American comedy is horrible, its just British humour is better, like 10,000 times better
@LaurabellChestnut I find British humor funnier in general as well; I suppose the main difference with UK and US comedy is that the UK humor is more unpredictable and witty in the sense of word play. I do also like US comedy as well :)
I was joking. Just wanted to see if anyone would bite. I'm from Dartford Kent...LOL...British comedy is the best. I never get sick of fawty towers for instance and that was made in the 70's.
I'm Irish, and as an Irishman, it would probably be the only time I'll side with the British in agreeing that humour from Britain and Ireland is so superior to that used in USA shows. I don't like either of "The Office" but Friends just isn't funny. I love it. It's entertaining but it's hardly comedy half the time. Black Books, Spaced, Extra's etc. are all so much better than Friends etc. in comedic respects
@MarcusHahnemann It sounds like you're not too familiar with more contemporary American shows. You should check out "Curb Your Enthusiasm" "30 Rock" "Arrested Development" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". The shows you mention are well-known but completely lame. These shows are a little more obscure (except for 30 Rock) as they are on specialty channels.
Haha I knew they produced on the cheap but not that cheap! The less money the better I say. How amazing is charlies voice? He could say anything any I would laugh like a lil bitch.
manny in two years you could have been vice-deputy sub-assistant, but your not. you're here shuffling around on the floor like the worm YOU ARE!!! LOL They rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@clownnookie whats with "three seasons" 6 episodes is pretty normal for a British tv show - although i do agree we need more black books right now!
stonedsaladonion 1 year ago
@clownnookie 6 episodes per season is the reason it's awesome. 24 episodes per season is the reason why cheers is average.

why is british comedy so bad. they can't compete with our American shows like Friends....And iur version of the office is so superior

@mikenorman66 Friends doesn't compare to this (it IS good) but British humor is ten times funnier!
