@prhibb I lived in St. Louis Mo. area a few years in the 90s. The problem I had back then and there was good strains to grow.  Hard to find. No so much now with being able to get seeds over seas. You just have to be good enough to pick out the girls that are strong and keep them going and all that.

@LBCengineer first, not many caterpillars around me. there are bug sprays you can use to keep them off. other then that, you have to go out and pick them off and kill them.
