@Doug19752533 the difference is that in a free society with free markets (capitalism), the individual and his/her rights and property are (supposed to be) protected first, above all else. Under this "-ISM", a group or a majority of citizens cannot force an individual to do something that goes against his/her principles or rights. Under other "-ISM"s, the majority or ruling group forces everyone to conform to their worldview. In other words, capitalism is a voluntary, organic cooperative.
