...In conclusion, bickering trees(people) and crows(the evils) attack when u find something that shines positivity and gives you power(the clothes) ...so i say follow your heart all 4 certain things don't require intellect only feeling(the heart), the heart can be "irrational" but all things do have purpose but doesn't always means its gonna work out 4 we could get sidetracked tricked or simply "trip" because of outside influences that turn inward...
"broken branches trip me as i speak." maybe he meant they hinder u from believing, for the trees in the end of the video captures poor Thom and changes him into one of them for misery loves company. But The most striking thing was he wasn't attacked until he found those clothes that gave him power, 4 when the crows was chasing him he gained speed but outside influences(the trees) snatched the boots off and he was powerless and became stuck and the crows finally caught up.
i love this video simply because of the stop motion animation. it reminds me of ralph the mouse with the intricacies of their society. it's really fascinating. and the overall movements york has with his body really suggest he's apart of the environment and not just some asshole standing in front of a green screen.
Are you saying he's not one of the greatest lyricists of all time? I might be exaggerating. I don't really think he's better than John Lennon but very close.
Yes, reminds you of those lovely old fairytales like the Brother's Grimm told which were basically ways to terrify your children into behaving. moral here - don't pick up Golden Reeboks that don't belong you.
This is a powerful song imposing a strong sensorial stimuli...viacom by taking these videos down you arbitrate and demean the freedom of art and mostly demonstrates your frivolous acts and dirty image
I love this song, love this video, and am hoping that they don't delete this vid. on my myspace video account they deleted one of my movies because I didn't put the name of the song. Sucks....

It is a song that talks about making drama about nothing. '' Just cause you feel it doesn't mean it's there '' .
