well different peoples' bodies don't like certain piercings, and surface piercings are the most common to get rejected... that means basically it will try grow out or not heal because your body don't like it.

@aliDemolition well have you seen what a lip piercing is like when it heals? because it's the same sorta look (leaves two little holes and after a while you can hardly notice it) one thing i would say, find out what type of metal you can have in your face, i had a silver bar through, and had to replace it with my black one because silver makes it swell and go red. hope it helps!
