Having played both, I like the style... but please stay true to the original! His name is Rock, not Mega... and since Dr. Light designed Mega Man's charge buster between Mega Man 3 and 4, why does he have it now? That alone makes this game way too easy...
@zynezyne The charge buster and slide are only available once you beat the game as standard Mega Man. The version this guy used in the walkthrough is called Mega Man C. Yes, it makes the game too easy, but you have to earn it the hard way first.
i hate this game for a number of reasons. One it looks like a damn 5 year old created it, two It strayed from the original way too much there were only 6 bosses originaly, in this one there are eight and in the original you couldnt charge the buster. This game is a fail in my opinion because it trys to hard to be Mega Man X 1 just with the mega man storyline. Hey capcom if you want to remake a game excspeacially one that is a classic stick with wat players kno and love.

In the japanese version the name is rock and her friend is roll.There are lot of character with music names in the original,like gospel and bass.But in the american version they changed the names.
Also, i'd advise you get this one. It's got a great stage builder mode and lots on challenges. Plus you can download new levels and characters off the interwebs.

u know all i remember of my megaman and bass game was that megaman's charging for a charge shot it got seriously annoying i swear so bass was the first one to beat the game lol

@blockboy5609 Exactly. These so-called game designers don't have a fucking clue as to the original story aspects or how things went. Dr. Light originally decided that he needed a fighting robot to combat Dr. Wily and Rock agreed to be converted into that...not the other way around as this "Blues Clues" version of Megaman suggests. I'm waiting for her to start calling ROCK as "Steve" and Rush "Blue". He'll have to fight salt & pepper shakers with infomercial sound-effects like his 'transformation
