Rabbits get paid to drop out but most rabbits wouldn't be able to run that pace for the whole 800m thats why they are a rabbit, if they could then they wouldn't be a rabbit. Love this race though, you see Borzakovskiy come from dead last to potentially winning then this symmonds comes out from nowhere, LOL and then at the end he goes and hugs and high fives everyone. My favorite track and field athlete along with xiang. Upsetting at osaka though.

The object of a rabbit is to pace the race, he doesn't enter trying to get a good time because running from the front usually will not win you a race. Not only does the rabbit set the pace for the race but he/she also breaks the wind for all of the other competitors which allows them to run a better time.
