I just copped, this video is filmed on the beach in Bunbeg...in Gweedore, Donegal....where the Brennans are from, it's also where Ostan Gweedore is situated, the local hotel.

This is from Moya's first solo album MAIRE...still my favorite album of hers. It was less "new age" and more traditional. Plus, the other Brennan sisters (other than ENYA) sang on it. Great, great album

Why did Máire change her name?

She changed her name because people abroad (mind you in Ireland also!) were having trouble with the pronounciation of the name 'Máire', so she changed it to Moya so they could pronounce properly.

Heh, heh, heh... that's right! Whenever I went to a music shop in my country looking for any of her CDs and pronounced her name right (as much as I´m able to) nobody undesrtood what I was talking about. I had to say "Marie" or "Mary" for them to get me her albums.

Oh wow had a tear in my eye seeing the family all togther, and Moya with her new life, coming home. For any who haven't, have a read of Moya's autobiography 'The Other Side of the Rainbow' (under her previous identity, Máire Brennan). You'll see what I mean :)

i'm still trying to get my patty fingers on her autobiography, but as it's america, you can only get it from europe by ordering it and the prices are high for a book . but i know what that video is about. after hearing a few of her solo albums and falling in love with her work, i tried finding out all i could about her and clannad, so i watched and read every interview i could find, and got some lowdown on all of them. amazing. and so is the song!
