@asgard66669 b(t)=t^4 is polynomial. Exponential would be 4^t. Really, whether either function is reasonable depends on your beauty scale, and units of time used. Most beauty scales have a top and a bottom, and exponential / polynomial functions could only respect one (if either!) of those.

@CarptheFish I see where you are coming from, it seems that you are a math major and I'm an engineer, the equation that I was using was indeed wrong, what I was trying to say was something along the lines of a population grow equation ala y=c*e^(k*t) and using my own arbitrary "beauty" units. This art story reminds me of Middle School. Why? My grandparents used to own an art supply store (Art Showcases) in L.A., but they ended up closing down with a lot of surplus art supplies. So they made up an inventory of what they had, and had me give it to my art teacher (Fred Kulick FTW!). He picked out what he wanted, and they gave it to him (yes, it was used for class). It was awesome.
