I love the charactorful sound of the GPZ500! I have a red one, '98. Sounds brilliant if you ask me! Great fun for a 500, especially when your on your own along the country roads it feels like your own race, Lol. Bit disappointing if you get a bigger bike tag along as they will rocket past you! But still, i love this bike! Great video, hearing the engine is the best soundtrack! Thanks for posting!

Nice job!.. I made an iridium magnet mount to stick on the tank and used the 'handlebar' mount to join it to the top of a small bar. See the results in the video response :)

I mounted it on my left hand crash bung. It didn't mount too well on my helmet as it's a bit big and the strap didn't fit round too well. I may try again at some point.
I'm seeing that "waving" effect in a few of these ATC2K videos. Is it just the compression? I'm thinking of buying one. I've already got another helmetcamera, but it's too many cables.
it has a alot to do with the "write speed" of the card. If you have a class6 (high write speed card) you will notice less of this. as the HC SD cards come along with faster digital write speeds this will be taken care of. class 6 is the fastest as of 02/08

@urbanfireblade I miss it. I have a zx6r and a 650 Bandit now - one is sole-less, one is fun, but still not as fun as the GPZ.

how tight did u make the clamp/ stap thingy. cause u wrote up there ^^^ u used rubber to make it not as wavy.

Did I say that? In that video I used the smaller of the two velcro straps and duct-taped the strap in place.

Sombeech, about the "waving" effect, I think it's because of the vibrations.
I put foam between the handlebar grip and the motorbike and i get no vibrations. Or I don't notice them.

Thank you. I didn't notice the waving too much on the original. It may be compression, I keep meaning to look back and check.
I'll give the foam a try. I find mounting it pretty tricky, most of the time it's done with duct tape.
I'll go have a look at your vid now.
