It's interesting that some people trapped in one of the restrooms did survive even after surrounded by fire for nearly an hour. so glad for them. My guy pointed that if you're in the other restroom, you'd be definitely dead.

My guy also commented that the fire's not likely from the indoor effects. It's gonna have to take quite a long time before the fire could burn up the hard roof so much like what he saw. He presumed it's more likely from the fireworks outside.

I did talked to a guy who's the real survivor from this. He was right at the place right at the time the fire broke out. Believe that?, he said he's even on the second floor but be able to get out. He noticed the fire on the roof and turned to tell his friends. Friends even said "oh, it(fire)'ll be gone in a little". Geez. My guy, 100 kg weight, did't take any chance and fled out said it wasn't that difficult to get yourself out from upstairs. i didn't ask of his friends. let's do next time.

Trying to reason this based on western concepts is simply ignorant. Compared to most of its neighbors Thailand is far better and not the dark void of morals everyone claims. People should stop moaning and pointing fingers and send $20 to the survivors that are in hospital with no insurance. The local embassies would be happy to assist. Until everyone has their own morals in order they have little right to comment about standards in an emerging country like Thailand.
