@staypuftlova: The Flamethrower and other Models were donated from other people. We didn't ripped out anything from any other Game without Permissions. And since AW2 is only a free Mod, while AVP was a retain game, I don't think it would matter so much now.

Well yes of course the graphics is better in crysis. Even today 2010 a lot of new games don't have has good graphics as crysis but consider this: AW2 is a mod made with a game (Joint Operations) that is over 6 years old from 2004. With that in mind, I think it is still pretty good. :)

I played the BETA before and the final version is impressive, but..... only 9 characters to choose from? AW2 BETA at least had all characters from JO:TR in it..

If it was up to us we would have had a lot more characters in the game, but because of the limits of the engine from Novalogic you have to always compromise to make the game work. I had made a lot of extra characters but as a result the game could not handle it.

After that the main focus was therefore not on getting as many characters in the game but making the ones we had very different. We wanted to have as much quality in the new content as possible and creating a more immersive gameplay ;)
