I can speak because there is polls and figures to back it up. The majority support the Union, and a growing number of Roman Catholics support things remaining how they are. From my college class around 4 years ago now out of 9 Catholics only maybe 4 supported a United Ireland that's over half were happy how things are.

I read somewhere on some obscure article that the men of South Armagh, or Ulster in general have become tired. It also goes on to say their sons are 'untested'. This is bullshit for if anyone with a braincell on duty will realise that as long as there is British Rule in Ireland there WILL ALWAYS be resistance to British Rule here. That is something the UK Governments have never been able to understand, or acknowledge.

Yes many lives were lost but thats the cost of war. Caused by both sides!! But to say we failed is laughable as there are many ex - IRA men now sitting in government in stormont.. A new power sharing deal set up in a peace deal! SO we achieved what we set out to do, power for our people son ;-)

It was the british government who once said "we'l never deal with these terrorists". In 1997 the british admitted they could not defeat the IRA so therefore got in talks with them and a deal was done for the benefit of the people!! Now they are in government in the north working politcally to achieve a United Ireland peacefully... which will happen.
