A Harley is a Harley. Yes, & a Yamaha is a Yamaha. They are just bits of machinery, nothing more, No 'religious respect' is necessary.
I probably wouldn't 'dieselise' a rare vintage machine, or rip a new petrol engine out of a bike to convert it. But if someone else wants to do that, I wouldn't have feelings about it one way or the other, because it's just a machine. : )
I LOVE it -- so coool, what a great looking bike too. I'm WC disabled, ride a mostly-stock '87 FLHTC blockhead with sidecar. Also, what a great sound your bike makes. Any plans for a turbo?

Then i saw your build with lombardini engine. I am already have diesel bullet fitted with lombardini engine 6.5 hp.I made a trip 450 kms nonstop on a single day. I was pleasantly surprised with lombardini ability. I too fine V twin is very big for the enfield also some reports of poor durability of chinese engines.
Hi. I am in the process of building diesel bike on Enfield frame. The option is kipor v-twin or lombardini. How is the engine quality of Vee twin against lombardini. How is the pick up among them.
Now if it only had a jake brake...haha just a thought.
