Wow! I had no idea Kraus had ever sung any Cole Porter songs!
He doesn't quite "dial it down" enough in my mind.
But its always interesting as hell to see how a great opera singer tackles lighter material.
Among the female opera greats, Kiri Te Kanawa has done a pretty good job on numbers from the Great American Songbook.
