I've ridden many times on Amtrak through this stretch of the "A-LIne". I still miss the old Heritage coaches. They were wider, more spacious and rode more comfortably than the Amfleet cars. Still, the Amtrak trains today still look decent and are nice to ride in. I wish that Amtrak would bring the Silver Meteor back to Tampa.

You have all the luck to ride the viewliners,I originally plan to take the Silver Star Or the Carolinian to Raleigh with my dad but sadly i didn't.The Heritage Diner also makes the train look Excellent.Have you ever been indise an Amfleet Cafe or Coach What do they look like inside?
@CSX2665 The speed for this curve is 60 for us and i believe 50 for freight. The Amfleet Cafe has the cafe at the center of the car, with 2 rows of 1 table 4 seat with aisle in between arrangement on each end of the car. The Amfleet coaches have a 2x2 seating arrangement with aisle the center. The seats are very comfortable and spacious, you have plenty of legroom and recline. Each seat features an electrical outlet, a curtain, reading lights, tray tables, magazine pouches and legrest.
