What editor was used to make this video?? I've tried Premier Pro, Sony Vegas, CyberLink and even the crappy software that came with the camera. I can't find a single editor that will even open the videos.

Footage looks about the same as my dxg-595v, maybe a bit worse. It also does poorly indoors but the price is about 50$ less. Looks like you got to get over 300$ if you want somewhat nice video.

does anyone know if i can stick a wide angle lense on this camera? which one will fit i dont care if i have to glue it or mag it on... I looked at the sunpak 0.5x lense reckon that will fit?

Thank you so much for posting this video, Just seen it, and I at radio shack today, and it was only $179.99 and almost bought it, but I did not like the zoom it was only like what 8 zoom or something, Anyway thank you, you just saved me a lot of money for a camera that might be worth $75.00, but not no $179.99 and defiantly not $249 or what you said the original price was. You said the site claimed that the camera had 8.1 megapixels and then went on to say that the footage didn't look that way. If you knew anything about cameras at all you would know that the megapizels apply to the still shots not the video.

I just bought this camera and I cant even get the disk that came with it to work in my macbook. My computer wont even let me let me import the pictures.. ;>( I think I may take it back today..

This looks like the camera that would break in about 5 months.

I bought this camera, i think its pretty good. yes, the image stabilization dose not work, but you only need it if you cant hold a camera still or if you zoom in all the way. and if you know how to use a camera you can change the exposure settings to get rid of the grain inside the house, i rarely have grainy video indoors. and it says 8MP for the pictures, and thats good for a video camera.

overall, if you have a steady hand, and know somthing about cameras, this camera is good for its price.

That's because we felt that there wasn't anything good to it. As with all reviews, they are someones opinion backed up with facts.

hes right, you point out nothing good. all you do is try to find flaws

the only bad thing i see about the camera is that you have to have a pretty nice computer to run the raw avi files, unless you convert them with some program like adobe affter effects.

I also agree with this 100%, the image stability doesn't work on it's highest HD setting. But, as they said it does work well when it's on a tripod. I may be taking mine back to Radio Shack. Because I haven't had it longer than 2 weeks.  Do NOT buy this camera!
